Chapter 13: Applause

The next day was school. Eren was still down and upset of what happened last night. He then woke up, hair messy, and basically a mess in general. His room was not the same as yesterday, it was all messed up and clothes everywhere now.

He stood up from the bed, and made his way downstairs. He smelled the fresh breakfast that consisted of bacon and eggs. Getting closer to the table, he saw his mom in her apron cooking breakfast and his dad reading reading the newspaper.

He approached the table and sat down on one of the chairs. "Morning, sweetie" his mom said placing the breakfast on a plate. "morning" Eren mumbled. "You okay?" She asked. "Yeah" Eren assured, even though he wasn't he didn't want her to know cause she gets too involved and concerned whenever he tells her things like this situation.

When he was done eating, he left the house and walked to school. Eren then soon approached the school.

When he was in the school, it felt as if everyone had their eyes on him, in reality no one was really looking at him. It acted as if it was just a normal day.

Eren passed by Mikasa's locker, she was there.. alone. Perfect! Now Eren could talk to her privately and convince her that he wasn't cheating on her. Eren then approached her and soon ended up being right next to her, skin almost touching.

"Mikasa" He said trying to make eye contact with her, while she was doing her locker combination. She didn't respond. Mikasa acted as if he was invisible.

"Mikasa" Eren repeated. She grabbed her books, and slammed her locker. "What do you want, you cheater?" She snapped. Eren flinched back a little.

"Why don't you believe me? I've explained over and over that nothing happened between Annie and I. Armin likes her and I like you. I would never do that to my best friend! I love you Mikasa, I always have. As I said we were sti-" Eren was cut off by lips pressing against his.

Eren came back to reality- M-Mikasa was kissing him!! WOOP!! Eren embraced it and put his arms around her, hugging her basically while she put her arms around his neck.

After a minute or so they stopped. Eren looked at Mikasa. "I believe you" Mikasa spoke, she then walked away. Eren's eyes widened. He then looked in front of him. All the people that were at the lockers- a matter a fact the whole school was watching the scene the whole time.

Applause. Applause was what you heard now. Teachers, students, staff, everyone was clapping at the beautiful relationship that got back together.

RIIINNGG! The bell then rang, indicating that everyone had to go to class. Then everyone just acted as of a normal day and went to class. The gang then approached Eren- congratulating him for getting back Mikasa. Everyone except Jean.

"A-Armin" Annie said catching Armins attention. "Uh yea?" Annie then did the most unexpected thing and.. kissed him! Armin blushed. Connie then barged and ruined the moment by clapping in their faces.

"My cinnamon roll grew up!" Connie shouted. Everyone laughed. "God dammit Connie, now I want a cinnamon roll." Sasha said.

"Oh shit, uhh guys you realize we still have to go to class?" "Shiiittt" "Crap" "let's ditch!" "We can't" "actually we can" "let's just go to class" "oKaY"

The gang then went to class.
Not only did the gang go on, the week went on as well, as it all came up to a Friday.

"Anyone wanna come with Connie and I tomorrow. We're bowling!!" Sasha yelled at everyone at the lunch table, which all the gang was sitting at.

"Uh, me and Bert will go!" Reiner said, nudging Bertolt in the side. "I'll come" Annie said with her usual stoic face.

"Krista and I can come!" Ymir shouted putting her arm over the smol blonde girl. "Actually I was sup-" Krista was then cut off by Ymir.

"Eren, should we go?" Armin asked, turning his face to Eren. "Uhh, I'm free tomorrow are you?" "Yeah I always am" "Mikasa can you come?" Eren faced Mikasa. "Maybe, I'll text you tonight if I can"
