Five Nights at Freddy's: The Sinister Past [Hiatus]

Chapter 12

Chloe woke up, it was day, the light shined through her window. It was a bright day outside and she could hear the birds chirping. But, something wasn't right, the world around her seemed distorted and bits of static filled her vision. Her room looked darker than it should have been and she could hear whispering. Chloe tried getting up, she couldn't move, all she could do was move her eyes. She tried screaming but she couldn't scream, no sound came out of her mouth. She turned her eyes right and saw a shadow rabbit in the corner of her room. She tried to move desperately as the shadow rabbit started moving closer to her. Corrupt, he's back! Chloe thought. Corrupt was right by her bed, he was staring at her with his glowing red eyes. Chloe tried to break free, but she couldn't. She could see black flames emitting off of his body. His head moved right above her's. Then Chloe felt a force draining her energy, she couldn't breathe. Something was taking the breath out of her mouth. Chloe opened her eyes and saw white clouds coming out of her mouth into Corrupt's mouth. He was eating her soul. Chloe looked at her arms and saw wrinkles forming on her. Chloe desperately tried screaming until she heard ringing in her ears. Then Corrupt stopped and he disappeared and the world turned back to normal. Chloe then landed on the bed and the wrinkles were gone. Chloe could finally breathe again and she was out of breath from the attack. She felt more exhausted than she ever was before. Almost like Corrupt feeds on souls and fear. She went downstairs to the kitchen to eat breakfast. Alex was at the table eating a breakfast sandwich she made. "Want a sandwich?" Alex asked. "No thanks, I'll just make toast." Chloe said. She made toast and sat down with Alex. "Can I ask you a question?" Chloe said. Alex was finishing her sandwich. "Uh, sure..." Alex said. "Okay... Do you believe in the paranormal?" Chloe asked. "Of course, when I went into Freddy Fazbear's a year after my friend did. I saw possessed animatronics. They were out to kill me and my friends. I luckily escaped. And there was one I was most intrigued yet terrified with..." Alex said. "Would that be Shadow Freddy?" Chloe asked. "Yes... Wait, how do you know his name?" Alex asked. "Lucky guess..." Chloe said. "I narrowly escaped death, especially after one man put me at knife point." Alex said. "Another question, do you miss him?" Chloe asked. "Who?" Alex replied. "You know..." Chloe said. "Michael..." Alex whispered. "Yes, I still miss him. Despite us being young, I saw his death in front of my very eyes. I couldn't do anything and I was practically haunted by my guilt and his conscience. He was like my brother, maybe even more if we grew up together..." Alex said. "Oh, but do you ever think about him?" Chloe asked. "I try to shun the past out of my mind, it's better to look forward than dreading on the past. Life is a vicious cycle and you have to know that. Yes, I still miss him, and I'm always thinking of him. But I have to let him go..." Alex said. She turned away from Chloe, she turned back and Chloe saw a single tear drip down her face. "Perhaps now is not the best time to be speaking about this subject." Chloe said and she walked away. She was thinking about what she could do to stop the "hauntings" and terror that she was enduring. She decided to do one thing, she decided that she wanted to destroy the thing causing the nightmares. It has to be something from Fredbear's Chloe thought. Chloe opened the door and was ready to leave. She biked to Krissy's house and rang the doorbell. Krissy answered. "Oh hi!" Krissy said. "Hi, now... I have something planned, just call Steven over and we'll discuss in. For now, we just hang out." Chloe said. "Okay, I'll call Steven to come over." Krissy said. She called Steven and he said he'll be over in a few minutes. Finally, Steven arrived. "Hi Krissy... Oh hi Chloe." Steven said. "Hi," Chloe said. "We are going to stop these nightmares I've been getting. I hope you understand but I know someone is causing them." Chloe said. Steven thought for a minute. He then said something that convinced Chloe she was right. "I think it's not Freddy Fazbear's that's causing it. It's Fredbear's Family Diner." Steven said. "Back in New Harmony, there was a place that was abandoned called Fredbear's Family Diner and I think it has links to Freddy's down the highway." "Do you know where to go?" Chloe asked. "I've been in New Harmony for years, I know where I'm going." Steven said. "Yay, then we go tomorrow to Fredbear's to investigate and hopefully end Chloe's nightmares." Krissy said. Steven and Chloe then left Krissy's house and went back home. Tomorrow, the venture out and finally attempt to end the terror that was haunting Chloe...

NOTE: Take note that some of this has something to do with sleep paralysis. This is something you should remember, sleep paralysis is not fun. If you ever do encounter it, try to breathe irregularly and try not to fight it. Sleep paralysis can last from a few seconds to minutes or longer. I advice not to sleep on your back or your face.
