"Please! Please! Please please please pleeeeease!?" I begged, literally on my knees, Daniel sighed and nodded, "Fine, I'll take you to Hot Topic." Stars were in my eyes now and I hugged him tightly. It'd been a month since we met and we were eachother's best friend. I wore my penguin PJ pants and a plain white T-Shirt. I had literally cried for four and a half days after finding out about Chester Bennington's death and my bestie was trying to cheer me up. "Thank you! Let's go now!" I yelled, pulling on his letterman jacket. "Nope, not until you change out of your PJs." I gave him puppy dog eyes and began tearing up, a talent of mine. "But... I-It's comfy...." He sighed before giving in. "Put on some shoes, let's go..." He mumbled. I ran around my one story house, trying to find my shoes and spotted them next to Chubbles' cage, which was in my room. I quickly slipped my blue Vans on before changing into a MCR hoodie, I kept the PJ pants on. "Hurry up! You're the one who asked to go!" I said bye to my bunny before running back to my living room. "Off we go!" I yelled happily.
"Only one!" He said sternly, making me choose between a BOTDF T-Shirt and a BvB hoodie, Has the world gone mad?!
"I'm not gonna pick!" I huffed childishly, my light blue fringe covered my eyes. "Fine, you get nothing then." This time real tears came to my eyes and I sniffled. "FINE. GET 'EM BOTH." I smiled brightly, "Thanks chu!" He sighed and pat my head, but I swear I saw a small smile. "Whatever."
We decided to go to his house and while we were in his car (He's a sophomore), on our way there, I texted my mom that I would be going to his house;
-------3:40 pm-------
Hey, mom.
-------4:00 pm-------
Mom?
Hellooooooo?
We were now at his house and his parents were so nice, they even asked for me to play my guitar for them sometime, which nobody ever does. (Author chan: GAWD, PPL AT SCHOOL ARE FUCKING JERKS, BTW, I'M WRITING THIS AT SCHOOL) "Nana, Dear, would you like a drive home?" I shook my head, "Thank you for the offer, but it's fine. I can walk." I assured, his mother shook her head and chuckled. "Only if Danny comes with you." I had found out that they called Daniel "Danny". I nodded, "Now, have some fun with my son, you look bored." She didn't mean for it to sound the way it did, but I blushed deeply. "A-Alright." I said before heading upstairs to Daniel's room and I found him on his phone, so I sat next to him on his Queen sized bed. The fuzzy, blue covers were really comfy. "Oh, hey." He said, "done texting your mom?" I nodded and he put his phone away. "Why do you look so... I don't know, sad?" I looked down at my lap and smiled a bit. "Nothing, just worried about my mom."
"Why?"
"She hasn't responded to my texts." He cocked his head to the side, as if to ask me "Why?". " Well, she always responds right away..." I sniffled, two strong arms wrapped around me and I looked up at him, a blush settled on my face. "It'll be okay." I nodded and smiled, "I sound silly." He shook his head, "Nah, I get it." I snuggled up to him, not noticing and I saw him blush lightly. "You okay?" He didn't respond, "D-Daniel?" He let go of me, only to grab my shoulders, not tight enough to hurt me, but enough to make me confused. "U-Uh--" He leaned in slightly, seeming to be hesitant. "Daniel, what're you... Doing..?" I found myself leaning in too, I didn't know why, but my heart was fluttering. Soon, his lips here on mine and it sent sparks through me. I didn't know how to respond, so I didn't. I let him kiss me and I felt amazing for once. It felt right having my arms wrapped around him as his grip on my shoulders loosened and I melted.
(Author chan: yes, I'm ruining the moment) We made our way downstairs, we were both smiling and blushing. His mom was setting the table, and his dad was asleep on the sofa. When his mom saw us, she grinned, can she tell we kissed?! "Ah, Nana, would you like to eat dinner here?" I shook my head. "I-It's fine, Mrs. Morrison--"
"Please, call me Sandra!" I nodded, "Okay, S-Sandra, I should be getting home now, thank you for having me over." She smiled brightly, "It's no problem at all! Now, Danny, take this young lady home." He nodded and was about to grab his keys when she stopped him and whispered something in his ear. "M-Mom!" She walked away with a smirk on her face and Daniel sighed. "Let's go." And we walked to my house.
When we arrived, he gave me a small peck on the cheek before making his leave. "Mom should be home by now..." I whispered to myself, trying to ignore my red face. I unlocked the door with the keypad lock and walked inside, but all the lights were off. "Mom?" No answer, "Mom?!"
