It had been a week since my mom went missing and I still wasn't in my right mind. I hadn't gone to school and neither had Daniel since he was consoling me.
At the moment, I was lying in my bed with Chubbles sitting atop my chest. "Nana!" I heard a masculine voice from my window. Startled, I sat up, which Caused Chubbles to jump off of me. "What?" I asked quietly. "You've been there for two days, eat something, dammit!" He scolded, which made me tear up. "Look, I'm sorry... I'm just worried about you, babe." He looked at ne through the window (in a non creepy way) and I smiled. "Come on over..." A childish grin played on his face and he slipped out of his window, then into mine. "So.... Any word from your Mom?" I looked down. "N-No..." He grabbed my wrists gently and pulled me into a warm embrace. "It'll be okay, boo." I nodded and wrapped my arms around him. "We're gonna go to school tomorrow, okay?" I nodded once again.
