Griffen's POV
Griffen was sitting on top of a bookshelf when it happened. When Hero actually did it. Deep down Griffen wished he could've done more, to make him think. But, there was no changing his mind.
His red eyes looked to Sky. He was so innocent and completely blind as what was about to happen. As was everyone else.
Everything around him went into slow motion after the blinding light. Every one being flung back slowly as they fear ran across their faces and the hurtful realization on Ender's. And Griffen just stood there, watching it happen before him.
Debris that fell went through him, unaffected as a ghost. He watched closely as Hero fell to the ground, his energy drained more then it ever was, his eyes fixing to a pale blue instead of the piercing white. He saw Sky, falling to the ground, unable to stop the powerful force.
And yet, when this was happening to everyone, he just stood there. Waiting for that moment he will have to go to and meet up with Hero once more. Maybe.
Griffen watched as the cue to go became more and more of the reality that slipped from everyone. Only to be stopped by this odd pull.
The pull seemed to originate were Hero was once standing, and everything stopped. Everything seemed to go back to normal speed and just... stopped.Debris that was falling had stopped in their places and ones that had already fell were the same. Griffen's eyes widened as the glow seemed to come back to them. It was impossible. He looked to Hero, who was now covered in small pieces of debris. His body was still there. He sensed a small but strong string of life under the pile.
He jumped down from the book shelf, stumbling as went to run to the pile. He skid to a stop by the pile, unable to lift anything due to his ghost form, he just stared. As if waiting for him to jump out and say it was a joke. But that was Entity's sick sense of humour.
But he knew nothing was going to happen. He stood, his shoulders slumping as his eyes faded back to dull red. He sighed as he began to walk towards the door of the Iirackk. Never looking back, he fazed through the door and rubble, going somewhere he wouldn't care if he stayed for eternity.
Third person
Everything had fallen all at once, ready to finally end what has been awaiting its end for a long time now. Pieces of rubble and old building pieces were now nothing but smashed pieces that could never be repaired. It was over, done.
Or at least, it was thought to be. Hours go by with everyone out cold under pieces of the Iirackk and large supporting beams all just seeming to hover a few feet off the ground. Pieces that had fallen before were touching ground but ones that had only just fallen were floating in the positions they were in.
Only beginning to float back up when people started to stir and begin to wake. The pieces rose slowly to their places, seeming to fix themselves as if time were going backwards.
Entity was one of the firsts to wake. Groaning with the pain of the force that shot them flying. He brought his arms to his sides as he tried to push himself up to at least a sitting position. He succeeded with only minor pains.
The others were a different story though. Ender had woken up second, his mind fuzzy as to what really happened. A large gash on his head causing a migraine behind his eyes. Everyone else took longer to wake, all getting more of a hit than the other two.
