(I'm running out of title puns ^-^')
You woke up in a bed that wasn't your own then you remembered, you were in Mister Dice's home, and surprisingly enough in his bed as he slept on one of his couches, you'd insisted on sleeping on the couch considering he was still a bit hurt but he refused, he definitely wasn't the same. But in a good way...you were happy to stay with him but you wouldn't accept a gesture like this again, Mr Dice would sleep in his bed and that was that you were fine one the couch but this was his home. And if anything he should at least sleep in his own bed, you sighed getting up Maybe neither of you would have to sleep on the couch...you realized your own thought and blushed brightly, you and King Dice in the same bed?! You felt the heat in your cheeks as you tried to throw away the thought and it ricocheted back into your mind. You questioned all these sudden feelings... you'd once hated every moment around him, although now, wasn't the same. He was kind, and caring almost, he still had a slight demanding tone the few times you'd insisted he slept in his bed, though you didn't mind it it was probably the odd compelling feeling to listen. You still have to remind yourself you don't have to listen but, now your freedom had seldom felt of an oddity, if you'd felt this way...how did Dice, he had obviously hated working for the devil but...had he enjoyed the power? He never told you what he originally sold his soul for, you'd never bothered to ask...thinking about it you realized you hardly knew anything about him since before you'd met him. you broke from your thoughts and got out of the bed, you hadn't heard a thing since you woke up, "Could he still be asleep..?" you asked yourself aloud before realizing and looking up to see him in the doorway "It's never safe to assume..." you nearly jumped at the sound of his voice. He had still looked tired, even more so then the night before...."Dice...did you get any sleep at all?" he looked at you and paused before responding "No...not a wink" you sighed "dice you of all people should know you should rest..." he grumbled and slouched "I don't get it..." he sighed but you stayed silent "why do you care..? I've done nothing for you before now. I was the reason you were stuck in the damn casino it the first place..." you stood in front of him "But you've changed!" his voice was flat though as always seemed like silk "Freedom doesn't change who I am or what I've done Y/N...." you grabbed him by the collar of his loose shirt and brought him to your height catching him off guard "And being captive does? Before mistakes were made you're still the same damn die, before you made the deal, before you worked at the casino, and before you met me!" you huffed a bit out of breath your grip still firmly holding his shirt collar he had seemed speechless. You had eventually found yourself thinking about how close you were to him, you had a moment of temptation but you did nothing...then you found yourself closer then you'd ever thought as he kissed you and before you could react pulled away and walked out...you didn't see his face but you'd never imagine his would ever be as red as yours was, in the end...you never got out of bed after laying back down...
