Cole Hafers is mine

Chapter 1/Prologue

Kylie's POV:

    I was lying on my bed, scrolling through musical.ly one day and found a profile called "lmfaoitscole". By the looks of the profile picture, I immediately tapped on it. Of course I started scrolling through the musical.lys. Man was this guy hot. I couldn't get enough of him! On the top of the profile, it showed this guys name, which was Cole Hafers. He had blond hair, grey eyes, and an ADORABLE smile! I scrolled through a couple more musical.lys before I was called to lunch.

    As I trotted down the stairs, I could not get him off my mind. I started eating the salad my mom had prepared for me.
   "Earth to Kylie" my brother Jacob said while waving his hand in front of my face, his mouth full of lettuce.
"Oh, yeah?" I asked, still thinking of Cole Hafers. I guess I had dozed off.

"Can you take me to the park? I said I was gonna meet Mike there." My brother is the most spoiled and annoying 10 year old to ever breathe on this planet.
     "Ugh can't mom take you??" I grumbled. I had a lot of 'looking at Cole Hafers' to do.
"No Kylie. You know I've got to go shopping in a couple minutes." My mom replied from the kitchen. I seriously hated doing things for Jacob. He's NEVER done anything for me!
"Fine.." I sighed "For five bucks"

"Kylie!" My mom shouted from the kitchen

"FINE!" I replied.

When can my brother ever learn to take care of himself.

••••20 mins later••••

Me and Jacob arrived at the park, me with my earbuds in. Jacob saw Mike, playing on the swing sets. He ran up to him and they immediately started talking about Transformers or whatever they do. Not far from the swing sets, I found a bench with no graffiti or bird shit on it. I decided to roll up my jacket and use it as a pillow so I could lay down on the bench. It was a cold autumn day in Franklin, Massachusetts, the trees in the park were turning a nice shade of red and orange. There was a big green lawn in the park and these huge metal gates. It wasn't such a bad park because there weren't so many little kids running around. Anyways, I decided to lay there on the park bench and look at more Cole Hafers. I had watched each of his musical.ly videos at LEAST 10 times. He was so cute!!

Cole Hafers was so distracting, it made me forget that I'm not supposed to look at hot guys around my brother. As I said, he is the most annoying little kid ever. There were a few times when I was looking at cute guys on my phone and he caught me and started teasing me. He teases me . All. The. Time. While I was watching Cole, Jacob and Mike planned this evil scheme to jump out and sabotage whatever it is I was doing. Right when I was about to scroll through more Cole Hafers, they jumped up from behind the bench and snatched my phone.

"What the hell??" I exclaimed

"Ooo who's thisss" Jacob taunted

"Give my phone back RIGHT NOW!" I yelled, furious. I tried snatching it back be they went out of reach.

By then, a couple of little girls close by were staring at us.

"Is that your boyfriendddd" Mike teased.

'I wish' I thought
"STOP give it back RIGHT NOW guys. I'm not playing."

"Or else what?" Jacob rolled his eyes "KYLIE HAS A CRUSH!" He yelled so loud, I bet people could hear it from a mile away.

Those little girls that were still staring at us started giggling. But that was the least of my concerns.

"GIVE...IT...BACK" I could barely control my anger. I could feel my face burning up. But I couldn't let Jacob see my soft side. That would make it easier for him to taunt me. "Or... I'm telling mom it was you that  ate the whole bag of chocolate chip cookies"

I could tell that really got to him. He acted like "mom's little angel". "FINE" he answered. He jammed my phone back into my hand and started to walk away with Mike. As if nothing had happened.
