As I was pulling off my shirt, my head somehow got stuck. I kept struggling and struggling. I didn't have to look in a mirror to know that my face was as red as a cherry. I. Am. So. Embarrassed. I feel like crawling in a hole and never seeing Cole or his friends again. Yup, that embarrassed.
I kept struggling for another few seconds when I felt someone helping me pull off my shirt.
I finally got loose and looked up, to see Cole staring back down at me.

"Seems like you were having some trouble" he laughed.

Now my face was so hot, it felt like I could fry an egg on it.

"Lovebirds! Stop stripping and come down to the water already!" I heard Ryan yelling

Cole took my hand while running towards the water. As my toes reached the tips of the water, I immediately jumped back.

"How do you guys stand this?? The water's like -100 degrees!" I yelled
Then Paige splashed a huge tsunami of water on me.

"Get used to it chicken" she laughed
"Who are you calling chicken?" I called while running into the water. I started splashing her like crazy. Riley and Megan joined in, splashing both me and Paige. Then the boys joined in.

We were all laughing our heads off. I bet we all looked like a bunch of little kids playing in the water.

After we were all done splashing, we dried ourselves and sat on our towels, exchanging numbers. These people are truly amazing.
Ben, Ryan, Riley and Megan all had plans.
"Catch you later?" Riley said while fist bumping me
The rest of us -Me, Cole, Paige and Tommy- started walking towards the closest pizza place. It was only a ten minute walk. The place we went to had the name "Seaside Pizza", I've never been.
As we walked in, I suddenly felt warm, as if I was sitting in front of a fire. The air smelled like cheese and tomato sauce.
    "Table for four" said Cole
"Actually Cole" Tommy interrupted        "Me and Paige were just about to leave" he said
"We were?... oh yeah we have to um go" she said
I saw Paige and Tommy smirk at each other.
"Oh ok then... table for two?" Cole said to the waiter
"Great. This way please" the waiter said as he walked us towards the table
"Have fun" Paige said, winking at me as she and Tommy left the restaurant

The waiter found a booth for me and Cole and gave us the menu. The setting was nice; we got a view of the sea. It was a brightly lit place, not that formal.

"So what do ya think about my group?" Cole said, smiling that amazing godly smile
"Their definitely a bunch of jokesters" I replied smiling "They're really nice people"
"Yeah they are" Cole said while looking out at the water. His eyes had the perfect reflection of the sea.
"Kylie, can I ask you something personal?" His expression suddenly hardened
"Um... ok...?" My stomach tumbled
"What happened to your dad?" He asked. I could see the pity in his eyes. I didn't want his pity.
I took a deep breath and looked out onto the ocean.
"My dad was a drug addict. He died a few years ago." I choked out as tears formed around my eyes.
Cole just looked into my eyes. He could see the tears forming. I clenched my jaw.
"I'm sorry Kylie. I really am. I never should've asked." He said, all while looking into my eyes.
He stood up and sat next to me in the booth.
Cole engulfed me in a huge hug. It felt like I was putting on a jacket that should've already been on. I hugged him back while crying into his shoulder.
I've never really talked about my dad to anyone besides Stephanie.
Then all of a sudden, Cole kissed me. He gently planted his lips onto mine. I came over my shock and started kissing him back, our lips moving in perfect sync.

He pulled out of the kiss.
"I'm sorry, I never should've done that" he mumbled as his face reddened.
I just pulled his collar and started the kiss again, well aware that we were in a public setting. His lips were warm and tasted like melted chocolate. He smiled in the kiss which made me smile.
The kiss ended in what felt like minutes.
I was pretty sure my mascara was smeared from both the crying and the kissing, but I really didn't care.
"Kylie Green, you are beautiful" Cole said, with his thumb against my chin.

______________
I'm so so sorry this chapter came a lot later than usual. I had soccer tryouts (I made the team!) and Christmas is literally tomorrow. I know these are some lame excuses but I just couldn't scrape up the time to do Wattpad.
You are beautiful.
