chapter 11: so many acts of kindness

Jay's pov

I was having no such luck trying to find Gemma, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket I looked at the caller I'd 'Nath' hopefully he have some good news 'what's up Nath you found her?' I asked 'erm I was gunna asked you the same thing' Nathan nervously laughed, I carried on walking whilst talking to Nathan, I looked to my left to see a gate swinging open, why not I thought to my self while Nathan was still talking to me, I put Nathan on loud speaker and used my phone or a light 'Leigh is gunna ring Gemma again to see if she answers' Nathan said 'okay mate tell me if she does'. I shouted I was waiting for some news from Nathan on the phone when something on the floor caught my eye; I shone my light on the floor. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw...

Leigh's pov

By the time we got there the ambulance was already there, I was shaking, I didn't no what to do she had only go out of fucking hospital and now she was going back in it. I was sat in the waiting room for what felt like hours, I didn't help that I was now on my own because jay and Nathan had work tomorrow, 'are you here for Gemma?' I looked up at the nurse 'erm yeah, I am any new?' I asked 'well she is in a coma at the moment and only time will tell when she will wake up, she had a broken nose and 3 broken ribs and may suffer from memory lost but we would find out until she wakes up' the nurse smiled, 'can I see her?' I asked 'yeah of course you can follow me' I followed the nurse to Gemma’s room, I walked in, she looked so week, it hurt me to see Gemma like this, but it was time for me to be the strong one I guess...

Nathan's pov

I felt really bad for leaving Leigh, but had to do a photo shoot and couldn't miss it. Weirdly I had a good nights sleep, but Leigh was on my mind all day and I wasn't concentrating properly, 'Nath come get your head in the game' I heard max said 'yeah sorry just thinking' I laughed and got back to work. After the shoot had rapped me and jay headed to the hospital, we had no idea what Gemma’s injuries were and how bad they were so we went in expecting the worst I guess, we walked into Gemma’s room to see Leigh on a chair, her knees up to her chest, reading a book, 'how is she?' I asked making Leigh jump, 'ohh she's okay, a few broken ribs a broken nose and may suffer from memory loss and she's in a coma but at least she isn't dead' I laughed nervously, 'you want to get some tea and some food Leigh?' I asked knowing that she wouldn't have left Gemma’s side 'erm but I don't really want to leave Gemma in case she wakes up' I said, 'she won't be alone I will be here' jay smiled 'ohh okay thanks jay' Leigh said smiling.
