Tale of the Banished (ON HOLD)

Chapter 3: We had to kill.

Fawn Vejinovic's POV :

Here was our next target supposed to be. Well, according to George his info, at least she had been seen here last. Adelaine and I are ready to burst in this ugly ass building when I suddenly realise something. I stop Ade from walking with my hand.

"Ade. Idiots!" I laugh.

She knows what I mean and starts laughing too shaking her head.

"We have been without missions out here for too long." She said.

She was right. Three days was way to long. Dauntless don't use doors. Our last mission was just small. so small we didn't even called it a mission. Our last real mission was in wannabe California. There was not much left of what it used to be but the people were arrogant like it was the city it had been. Killing a serial killer. Ironic.

We made our way to the dull wall which really needed some artistic stuff or at least a colour. I putt the little arrow back in my quiver.

"Woow. Okay wall, I'm gonna climb you like a boss!" I said shrugging my shoulders.

I was already half hanging from the wall when I looked back at Adelaine. She nods me to go first. I knew she had fear of heights but concourse them every time when she had to. My twin was strong.

"Come on Ade, together. Get your sexy ass up this wall or I will drag you up with me." I jokingly said to her.

She smiled. "I wouldn't mind being carried, but not by you. There is a big change that you drop me halfway." She said laughing.

Now she started climbing too. Soon we were almost at the top. That wasn't where we were going though. A little under the edge of the top was a whole in the brick wall. That was our goal. I pushed Ade in having her 'save'. After I dragged my own butt in we were somewhere between two brick walls. A lot of noise came from the other side of the second wall. At the same time we looked trough the second whole in the other wall.

All the Dauntless were eating and drinking loudly.

"Let's wait until the pigs are done." Adelaine said sitting down between the two walls.

I shrugged. "What ever you say boss." I dropped down too from the uncomfortable way of crouching. My bow way in the way though so I had to take him off.

After a while they were finally done with eating and all of them were gone. Going back to the uncomfortable crouch from our steel asses we scanned our new surrounding. Nobody anymore.

I ussured Ade to go first. when she had been balancing enough on the edge of the wall but didn't jump I got enough of it. I sighed pinsching the bridge of my nose. She was still wiggling. I pulled up a brow at her and gave her a push with my boot. with a small yelp she went flying down landing perfectly straight on her feet on one of the tables. I threw my bow down at her and followed suit.

She gave me a small glare for the push at which I answered with a playful smile. We both knew it would have taken too long if I hadden't pushed her. Once down I looked around putting my bow back on my back.

"Wauw. Kinda big. Our rooms are nothing in comparison ey Ade?" I said jumping off the table.

"Yeah well they are a little more fortunate with the area they live in." Adelaine said also looking around.

I almost stood in something what looked like food on the ground.

"Hey Ade, still hungry?" I asked having the thing pricked in the end of an arrow and wiggling it towards her.

"Gross Fawn put that away! Let's start before they start patrolling." Ade said looking disgusted at what ever kind of food it may have been.

The Banished ate whatever they could get so our menu's most of the time looked way different from the food they ate here. We had learned all their kinds of food though as part of our training but we had no idea what this had been being all mushed by shoes.
