Fawn Vejinovic's POV :
We had been lucky because just when we sat down in the train the Dauntless guards appeared. You would think they would guard this train as soon as it arrived but lucky for us they didn't. Two grown up woman and man walked towards the train ready to guard it. They talked a little but never checked the train for possible tricks or intruders. There goes their 'good' reputation as the 'soldiers' of all five parts.
Ade and I relaxed again knowing that the talking guards, heavily armed with guns and needles with blue stuff they took with them, wouldn't find us and when the others would join we would blend in completely. Adelaine grabbed the bowl of salad again she took with her. While munching on the last of her salad I looked at her.
"Take your time we have the world of it. Not like we have a train to catch or something." I say looking at the bowl in her hand. She munched on.
"We already caught it Fawn."
I dragged a hand down my face. Adelaine and food when she was hungry, the biggest love story in the world. She gave me an asking look.
"What?" She said pulling up her shoulders in defence.
She already knew what I thought and she couldn't keep her mask of 'not knowing' on as she smiled.
"Are you finished?" I ask a bit impatient.
Ade stuffed the last few green in her mouth and swallowed soon. "Finished."
"Thank you." I ecasperadely say to her.
She pushed the now empty bowl under some benches. Sounds of the noisy Dauntless who came up reached our ears. Carefully we looked out the window. A giant guy with short strawberry blonde hair and tattooed all over stopped next to the guards who were now as still as a mouse with the cat right there. Well, that might not have been the best description for him but never the less they were still.
All the Dauntless lined up quietly under his gaze. It still were quite a lot for just one patrol. I had to say that he didn't look bad. Ade pocked me in the side probably catching up to what I thought. I rolled my eyes and focused. One after the other got a needle with that shinny light blue stuff in their neck like a facean to an illness. After that they were provided with a gun they got ussured to the train. The first who jumped in though was the guy with the short strawberry blonde hair who obviously was the leader. Fast we stood up straight like we were ready to go and had our guns. He looked at us and narrowed his eyes.
'Shit shit shit!' I thought trying to come up with a plan.
I just knew Adelaine was doing the same. But just as he was about to walk up to us the other Dauntless started climbing in unconsciously saving us. He looked at us a little longer but then went back to commanding. Okay, he was not that nice to look at anymore.
Lined in two rows the train started it's journey. For a while Adelaine and I stood there like they did but they seemed frozen. No emotion, no talking, no moving. Inhuman.
"I guess that that blue liquid had it's purpous." Ade whispered carefully. "The mind controlling started."
"Well, that is good." I said turning my head towards her hoping not to attract the attention of the strawberry blonde broad guy up in the frond.
"How is that good Fawn they are brain washed! They have no idea what they are doing!" Ade said like I went crazy.
"Yes, true but that also means we are on her trail dear twin of mine. So she better make sure her security is good 'cause we are right behind her." I said smiling. Ade nods in agreement.
