Love could come in several ways, it may be unexpectedly, it may be accidentally,  and the list goes on. I'm not much of a fan of love myself, but seeing how happy and in love people are around me, I can't help but feel curious.

I asked Kelly how does one fall in love, and she just told me that when I find the one, I'll know when I see him. Like when she first saw Damon for the very first time, she knew as he walked through those halls he that he was the one. How she knew when he first asked where the bio room was, like how he first looked at her; but her answer wasn't enough for me.

Then I asked my sister, Claudia the same question, and she told me that I'll know when I feel sparks exploding everywhere as he gives physical contact. Like when she first bumped his shoulder on her way to school, she knew when he first touched her hand during prom, she knew when they shared a kiss at the day of their graduation; but her answer still wasn't enough.

I then asked my brother, James, and he told me that I'll know when I feel all sorts of emotions whenever I hear the mention of his name or whenever he's around. Like when he first met Julia at a charity event, he felt his heart do summersaults inside his chest when they locked gazed for the first time. Like whenever she's with someone else but him, he'd feel so jealous and confused. Like when she finally agreed to be his girlfriend, until the point when they finally got engaged; but his answer still wasn't enough.

"Hey," my thoughts were interrupted by a guy who has been waving his hand at my face.

I was distracted by how his eyes reflected the sun. Those blue orbs caught me off guard, completely forgetting about what I should be teaching him.

"W-what?" I was lost in those blue eyes, they were like the ocean, so many wonders as you dive into them, and I'm afraid that if I go deeper, I won't come out for air ever again.

He chuckled and shook his head. "You were supposed to proofread my Spanish essay, remember?" He asked. "I'm not really good with language shit and you know that if I don't get this essay right I'd be kicked off soccer season."

I remembered when I first met Hunter, he was at the tryouts for the school's soccer team and I couldn't help but notice how strangely blue his eyes were. They were so blue, you  couldn't focus on anywhere but his eyes. All the colors in the world and yet I chose to admire the shade of blue his eyes were.

I was the co-captain of the cheerleading team at the time and I was there when I watched how he played in front of the coach. The way how his body flexed and perfectly timed as he aimed for the goal, and how his muscles rippled as he took off his jersey to wipe his sweat, how he smiled widely as he got into the team, and how his smile grew wider when he first saw me, and at then moment, I knew I liked him.

That was three years ago.

He isn't perfect though.

He makes mistakes. He fools around with girls, he comes to school late, he fail Spanish tests, he sleeps in between classes; but I know for a fact that he is passionate. Like when a certain factor affects his spot in the school's varsity players, he would stop at nothing just to stay on top.

But unfortunately he isn't bilingual or even interested in other languages other than English. He has the lowest grade in Spanish and luckily, I'm one of the best in Mr. Theodoro's class so he asked me to tutor him.

And I've been tutoring him for three years.

A couple of months since freshman year he dated this girl named Sabrina. She was stunning, absolutely one of the best cheerleaders we've recruited. They would go on dates together, they would hold hands, they would steal kisses here and there, and what's worse is that Sab is my childhood friend.
