I have been in the hotel room all day and this is due to fact that the cramps were not getting any better. Last night was fifty per cent fun and fifty per cent insomnia. After my bath and wearing my night clothes which consisted of a large grey cardigan that was just a little bit below my butt with a hood that that the words 'I need a hug 'written boldly on it and long purple socks, the discussion among us continued. The hotel room was specifically designed in such a way that it had four separate beds which had their lamp stand and beside each bed was a well carved out table which remained me so much of those carved sculptures of Benin kingdom. So yes, we had our separate beds with a large wardrobe we all shared and an over sized bathroom. There was also a door leading to a balcony which had an over view hotel and the city.

So we talked, laughed, played. You know catching up. We were awake till 1am in the morning till nature started calling us one by one and decided I wasn't fit for her call due to the fact that the cramps worsened. Throughout the night I kept walking around the room cos sitting down was not helping my condition. I went into the bathroom, taking in everything around me; the large mirror that covered one side of the wall, the sink that inbuilt with the long layer that had cupboards which has fluffy towels, hand towel. The faucet the was shaped in form of a flamingo, the toilet, then the shower stand that was enclosed with transparent glass that that images of images of flamingos engraved on it. At some point I found myself at the balcony looking at how the city was beautifully lit up at night. The hotel also had a large swimming pool that I could see from where I was standing and I was so glad I had brought swimming suits. It was not until five, six in the morning that I was able to fall asleep in an awkward position on my bed but not before send Ada and Ijeoma text messages not to wake up they wake up. I needed my beauty sleep. I woke up around ten to find a note written by Ijeoma informing me they have gone out and they will get something for me on their way back.

I checked my phone to see four missed calls. Two from my mother which am very sure was calling due to my missed calls she must have seen when I was calling last night. The other two were from my colleague at work. I returned my mom's call telling her that I arrived safely and the cramps that was about to take my life. I called the said colleague who bombarded me with office work that I was meant to get done before the day runs out. After the call I sent a quick text to Ijeoma telling her to get painkiller on her way back, then brought out my laptop to get down to work.

It wasn't until two in the afternoon that Ada and Ij returned to see me buried in my work

'What are doing, we said not work just chilling, relaxing and fun'. Ij glared at me

'I did not plan for this to happen, I got a call from the office' I said fixated on the laptop 'did you buy it?'

'Yeah, we bought it. Now take it so that we can get past your cramps and enjoy life' Ada grumbled and landed on my bed with force causing me to sigh and close the laptop.
