A week later...
Justin got a job at Starbucks, because he had 'special skills' in making coffee. The other reason is that, he wants to be closer to me and see me every day. Um, okay.
Now we do this three person cashier thing since there's three of us now. So when we get our orders, we can just go make it other than keep on switching. If you know what I mean.
Everybody has been going to Justin lately, since he's a 'new worker' so I try to help him. But he doesn't want me to help him. So that's less work for me.
It was time for closing, at least for me. I was about to walk away when I felt large arms wrap around me. And I know who exactly it was.
"Can you please stay for a few minutes? Samantha already left." Justin frowned.
"I have to go."
"Please?" He frowned, giving me a puppy eye look.
I smirked.
"Fine." I said.
I went around the counter so no one would think I'm a worker.
"So, nobody is coming in. That means I'm-
"No, please don't leave."
"Whatever." I smirked.
There was small silence between us for a few seconds.
"Justin, why did you have weed with you in the first place?"
"That morning, before we went, my friend offered me some. I said no but I'm guessing he slipped it into my pocket. I only realized it when I was about to drive us to that place. And of course the police thing had to happen."
"Wow. Sucks to suck." I chuckled.
I looked around Starbucks. There's so many people here today. The room filled with chatter and laugher, I felt eyes on me.
I turn around just in time to catch Justin staring at me. I blushed and his face went red. He all of the sudden looked nervous.
"Ariana, I was thinking... will you be my girlfriend?"
My heart dropped.
"Girlfriend?"
"Yes. Please. I've been thinking it for over a week now. And I really like you more than friends. I know you've had problems in your relationships in the past, but I promise you this will be the best you've ever had." Justin begged.
I thought over it for seconds, feeling like hours. Do I really want a relationship? Hopefully I don't fuck up.
And hopefully Justin doesn't fuck up.
"Promise me one thing." I said.
"What is it?" Justin asked.
"Don't hurt me, and I won't hurt you."
"I would NEVER hurt you." Justin says.
"Then it's a deal." I said, giving him a peck on the lips.
He smiled. The widest smile I've ever seen him have on his face. I smiled back at him.
"I'm guessing I'm kind of the step mom of Sabrina?" I said. "Just not married?"
"Yeah. You'll be a great mom." Justin says, making me blush.
"Is it fine if I go to your house right now?" I asked.
"My shift ends at 9:00pm."
"Oh fuck. Uh-
"You can stop by my house tonight."
"Okay, see you." I said, giving a peck on his cheeks.
