I'm watching your lips move
cherry blossom colored
fluent with motion
supple,
pursed between a cigarette
sucking in some burning leaves
and breathing out the weight that swelters and slithers around your chest
Those lips are followed by smooth skin
Skin that is foreign and holds delicate veins
A neck that smells like fresh leather
and crushed almonds
a place I wouldn't mind dipping into and residing
for a while
Wind flushed cheeks
and eyes that are low
something intruded your soul-
no
something stole through you without your permission
And wiped out your reason for staying afloat
but in a cruel world like this
you're wrapped up tight
you bear the wind
and resist the temptation
of the wonderful delicacies of losing yourselfI'm watching your hands
slightly worn-
but slender and gentle
pulling the death stick from your lips
and flicking the butt into a world that's done nothing but betray you.Now I'm watching your eyes
they don't give away much
just beautiful green swirls that perplex me
in every way of the sense
