sarah nodded with unsure thoughts on her face, ethan playing with a toy gun he had, sliding in the bullets. alexis leaned against the counter slightly, knowing this would be a very complicated time.

"so, i have to babysit you while you babysit two nine year olds?" ethan gave her a brooding look, sarah chuckling at his face. "seriously, how bad can they be?"

"imagine a giant piranha that walks on land," ethan described, "now give it rabies. and a brother. i'd rather babysit the piranhas."

"ethan, you remember the boys?" the kids' mother asked, walking in with her hands on the shoulders of one boy and ethan's mother's hands on the others.

their faces were uninterested, bored and almost sad. they looked disappointed. they didn't look so scary as ethan pertains them to be.

"they're being so nice and quiet!" she pushed them off, them walking off quickly into the dining room. she looked worriedly at the teens. "they're planning something, i know it. so let's go before they.. you know–"

"no, i don't know," ethan's mother said, getting pulled along by the other woman and the two rushed off in worries. "why are we running?"

sarah and alexis looked into the dining room, ethan cocking the gun. the kids sat peacefully at the table, jane included.

"ooh, kids drawing," sarah teased, "so scary. where should we hide?"

ethan lifted the gun with a serious look. "i'm keeping this at the ready."

the kids continued drawing silently for a bit now, leaving the teens weirded out.

"they're so quiet," sarah said.

"yeah. too quiet. i bet they're drawing up a plan to destroy us. devising a sinister plan that at any second's gonna suddenly get us," ethan whispered, true fear in his voice.
"just.. wait for it. wait for it."

as if on cue, benny jumped out from by the stairs, surprising both sarah and ethan. "benny!"

sarah had punched benny in shock, immediately cringing and apologizing quietly.

"boo-yah!" rory shouted, shooting ul from behind the counter. ethan shot his forehead in defense.

"told you guys," alexis mumbled, scanning her nails and showing no reaction to what happened.

"hey! is this from barfing down your chimney?" rory said.

"no, i just–wait, you what?" ethan said, backtracking at rory's sentence.

"nothing," rory swallowed nervously. "i'm here to help battle the tornado twins," rory responded, placing his fists on his hips.

"me too, are they here yet? i don't see anyone bleeding," benny added, looking around.

"see for yourself," ethan mumbled, gesturing towards the dining room, "hey, boys. this is benny and rory."

the kids looked at the teens with blank faces. "hello benny and rory," they said in unison, going back to drawing just the same as they were before.

everyone looked at them in concern and worried looks.

"woah, that is a tornado of weird," rory said quietly.

"okay. kids speaking in unison. that's never good," benny said worriedly.

all four teens were interrupted by a loud shove at the door, causing them all to jump and turned around. erica stood there, unfazed by their sudden reactions.

"are we going or what? i'm starving," erica said, looking at sarah with slight irritation in her voice.

sarah sighed, going forward. "coming, erica."
