Two birds into One

Raven had only been downstairs in the kitchen for only a few moments, but, Kori and Dick were struggling to get the right dress, Garfield and Jamie were gonna kill each other over waffles, Kim was trying to watch TV but had no idea how to work it and started to blast out loud, and things were awkward between Damian and her, even though he said he was ok with her liking him. Sometimes she feels like the only sane person on the team.

Damian had made his way downstairs and sat next Raven in the dining room. She didn't say anything, he didn't say anything. Although Damian was a strong brave solider and was trained to kill, he always felt nervous and weak around Raven. But the good kind of weak.

His thoughts were interrupted by Raven. "Damian that Fro you place you like? I was wondering if we could go there later?" She asked. "Um, sure?" He said confusedly, he never thought he would be..... Asked out by Raven? He was confused and so was Raven.
"I thought we might go cause, well Garfield is gonna ruin our breakfast and we might be starved the whole day." She said looking at Garfield's burnt waffles. Damian smirked at her joke.

"Sure, but please I don't want any toppings, no sugary stuff and no whipped cream or chocolate." Damian said. "So you just want the cup?" Raven said looking at him like he was crazy. "How about we just order pizza?" Asked Damian. "Thats a great idea, it looks like we aren't getting anywhere with Garfield cooking." Koriander said. "Please, what is this 'pizza' you speak of?" Kim asked.

"Dude, you don't know pizza?!" Garfield said surprised, "Pizza is the best food in the world, other than tofu, it has cheese and you can add toppings like, black olives, or plain cheese, or pepperoni, veggies, c'mon I'll show you, tweeter has the best pizza pics." Garfield babbled. Kim and Garfield went upstairs to talk pizza.

"Kim's gonna be up there for a looooong time." Jamie said. "What makes you say that?" Asked Dick. "It's Garfield............ Talking about pizza." Jamie said looking at his watch counting how long. "Oh no! I will not see my friend until the end of the day." Kori said. The team just snickered. "I'll order the pizza." Dick said.

The team departed, Jamie went with Dick to make sure he got the right pizza, because everyone in the team is picky, Kori had gotten back to the dress store to see if she could choose another dress. All that was left was Raven and Damian, sitting there doing nothing.

It was 12:34 and Raven so far had nothing to eat all morning. But she wasn't hungry, she didn't get hungry easily. She walked to the kitchen and made herself some herbal tea. "You're gonna make yourself herbal tea on an empty stomach?" Damian asked. " I'm not hungry, I'm fine with tea." She said in a bored tone. Damian looked at her with a bored face, but inside he always like Ravens bored tone, why? He didn't know. Even though she's half demon, he had always felt like she was normal. He likes Raven the way she is, hopefully she likes him for being an overtrained, rude, selfish, way he is.

It was true Raven liked him the way he is, but she didn't think of him like that, she thought of him of kind, brave, courageous, funny (sometimes), caring, and daring. Was she some off about him? Um..... Well possibly. But she liked him the way he was.

Damian had taken one step when he mistakenly stepped on Raven's cloak. He and both Raven and slipped. Their lips so close to touch only a centimeter away, so close to kissing each other. In mid air it felt like slow motion, that's when, the tip of Raven's lip touched the tip of Damian's lip.
