Laughter echoed against the walls of Ebony's room- the grey haired female and the red dyed hair man both clenching their stomachs to stop laughing. Hoseok gently opened one of his eyes and stared at the female, who was still laughing. She looked adorable, a wide smile on her face. Her laughter made him smile wider, his heart fluttering with every giggle that came out of her mouth. He quickly held a hand out to her and placed it gently on her shoulder. This made her flinch a bit, and she looked into the caramel eyes of the man. He stared back into her own unique deep purple eyes.

"Ah, Hoseok, you sort of scared me there," she gave him a genuine smile. He smiled back with a quick apology. She smiled even wider, seems like she was asking for a challenge.

"May I come in?" A voice asked from outside the room. Hoseok went to the door to open it, only to reveal a waiter with a tray of chips, cola and some other snacks that they ordered after they arrived at their room.

"Thank you!" Hoseok beamed as he gently took the tray from the waiter, earning him a courteous smile in return.

As the two started choking down the food. A little later, Ebony felt thirsty and gulped down her Coca Cola can fully. She looked extremely red after drinking the liquid.

"Hey, are you okay..?" Hoseok put an arm on Ebony's shoulder to make her turn his way. The grey haired female's face was almost the same color as his dyed hair. Ebony eyes went watery as she adjusted her vision on Hoseok's face.

"I'm fine!" She smiled, water slipping her eyes like water running out of tap.

"What? Why are you crying? You can't be alright like this..." Hoseok started, only to be cut off by the grey haired girl.

"You're right. I'm not fine... I'm not okay- but I have to smile!" She said, attempting to smile, which she miserably failed on as she hugged the male in front of her.

"I-I can't smile- but I h-have to... I don't want people to share the same fate as me." She cried onto his shoulder, clutching onto his shirt as the male hugged her back after processing what happened.

"Ebony, what's wrong?" He said, ever so gently, while running his fingers through her silky grey hair. Those were the words she had been longing for.

"I-I just wanted to hear those words," she sobbed, clutching onto him harder, "every single day, my Dad used to go out, leaving my Mum depressed. She knew he had an affair, but didn't say anything, until one day, when he brought that woman home. They argued, the woman abused my Mum. I was way too young so the woman never really hurt me. Dad never cared about me or Mum, he was just too addicted to the woman. One day, Mum left and never came back. She never gave me that smile, and she never asked, "Ebony, what's wrong?" She just stood there like I wasn't even there. Soon, the woman and Dad kicked me out of the house when I was old enough and I was left to my own devices... My friends didn't know this was going on because I've never told them. When I was kicked out, I was 18. Legal for me to get a house, so I moved in with my friends together." She choked out, crying and sobbing onto the male's chest now, as she has been crouching down with every word escaping her mouth. The male just stood there, surprised someone who smiles so much could've gone through that.

"That's why," she continued, getting up from the man's chest, "I smile. I don't want anyone to go through that." She said, curling her mouth into a smile with the help of her hands. Hoseok processed everything that had been going on and cupped her wet face.

He quickly sealed her lips into a passionate kiss- shocking her in the process. He could feel her melt into the kiss and kiss back softly, a smile filling his face. He parted from the female, staring deep into her royal purple eyes.

Hoseok looked away, a faint blush on his face. He set her down on her bed and laid next to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and getting into a comfortable position. She lays her head on his chest and closes her eyes softly. Ebony quickly falls into a deep slumber and Hoseok does as well soon after- mumbling soothing reassuring words into her ear.
