I Need U

Chapter 5

"Taehyung? Are you going through my bag?" The red haired girl's voice raised from the other side of the room. Taehyung looked up from the female's bag with big brown bold eyes, a smile filling his face.

"Yep," he admitted, "you have so many photos of me." He giggled at the flushed girl.

"A-ah, w-what," she stuttered, adverting her eyes away from the man, "no I don't." She lied. 

Taehyung quickly held up a poster of himself with hearts surrounding the picture, which made Ruby only blush a deeper shade of red. The male let out a chuckle and stared at the picture of himself.

"Who's this handsome devil? Oh, right, me." He complimented himself, laying a hand on his own cheek and staring at himself as if he was a God.

"My ex boyfriend looks better." Ruby snickered, trying to tease Taehyung- which had obviously worked. He scrunched his face up and stared at her.

"What! No way! I'm the hottie!" Taehyung pouted.

"Well, you know what? Sure." Ruby sighed, giving up.

Ruby got in the covers and opened her phone to watch Boy in Luv. She unconsciously squealed at the part when Taehyung sang.

"Hmmm~ oh look it's me~ well then~ what've you got to say to this~? Hmmm~?"  Taehyung smirked, right next to Ruby as she bobbed up, only to clash her head on his head.

"S-Shut up..!" She blushed, while Taehyung pouted.

"My head hurts.." he whined, making the redhead guilty at his adorable face which was now cuter than usual.

"F-fine, I'm s-sorry..." she apologised.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." Taehyung replied, innocence rolled off his tongue yet a hint of mischief could be heard.

"Look Taehyung," Ruby started, getting the idea she was being played with, but then looked at his innocent face, "I'm sorry." Her gaze softened, which surprised Taehyung.

"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you there, you seem to have made me deaf." He smirked, bringing his face right next to Ruby's who blushed and looked away.

"Look, do what you want, just don't disturb me. I'll be up all night seeing how I got the trouble maker." She sighed, tapping on her phone, opening Wattpad and reading her anime x readers.

"Awww, why would you read anime x readers when you know you actually have someone with you.." Taehyung pouted.

"Go to bed." Ruby ordered, glaring at the immature man.

"No!" He acted like a kid. Ruby just sighed and continued reading her fanfics.

Soon, Taehyung got tired of waiting for Ruby to finish her fanfics and appeared right in front of her face.

"I see you reading a kiss scene, how about a real kiss?" He smirked, making Ruby blush, but soon regaining her composure and rolling her eyes.

"No thanks." She briefly replied.

"Why? Do you have a boyfriend or something?" He asked.

"No." Ruby stopped herself from crying.

"Then, why?" Taehyung childishly asked.

"Because I just broke up with my boyfriend and I am not looking forward to a relationship anymore." She replied, keeping her cold demeanour despite the depression she felt inside.

"Oh, I apologise..." Taehyung felt really guilty about what he did, and bit his lower lip. 

"Don't be. Who cares about that idiot anyway." She replied, seeming like she doesn't care, but Taehyung could tell when people were sad. Well, that's what he gets if he lives with Yoongi.

"I know you're sad, but, can I make it up to you...?" He looked so guilty that it could even melt Ruby's heart- which of course, it did.

"I appreciate you getting worried about me," she smiled at Taehyung which made his guilt falter a bit, "but you should really sleep." 

"Aye aye, captain!" He cheered, snuggling up right next to Ruby.

"Hey hey, not so close." She blushed.

"Oh, sorry!" He said, distancing him away from Ruby. Taehyung was now bored, so he looked onto Ruby's screen. She was looking at his pictures. 

'Damn it why is the girl so persistent, she has the real thing, why not look at it, or even touch it!' He thought, internally, smirking to himself.

Taehyung, then, decided to pretend to fall asleep to see her reaction when he's sleeping. 

Ruby decided to check if the grey haired boy fell asleep or not. She trailed her eyes over to his figure. She finally confirmed that he was asleep, after several attempts of poking him. She caressed his cheek, which Taehyung found was heavenly. She, then, decided to feel his hair. She carefully ran her hands through his grey dyed hair, a soft tender smile revealing on her face. The redhead found the grey haired boy's hair really soft, so she let out a soft squeal, careful not to wake him up.  

Meanwhile, Taehyung was really enjoying his moment with Ruby. Her soft fingers, running through his hair, so nostalgic. He thought it couldn't get any better when she started to speak.

"You know, you're so cute." She spoke.

'Not cuter than you.' Taehyung thought.

"You're always so energetic and nice. This is why you're my bias. I was always obsessed with you." She smiled.

'So that's what you think of me. You should be more honest.' He internally smirked.

"I'm really sorry if I was ever mean to you, which I obviously have been, I hope you can forgive me though. Well, I've got to make you hate me so, I have to be mean and not let anyone in my heart anymore." She said.

'Awww, I knew it. She was a softie all along.' He thought how cute Ruby was. Although, the thought that bothered him was that what she said about letting people in her heart. She must've been hurt deeply.

"Well, then, little cutie, good night." She said, kissing Taehyung on his cheek and snuggling in next to him- so that she was right under his chin.

"You know, you're so cute. You should be more honest." Taehyung spoke up, freezing Ruby on the spot. 

"Wait- you were awake the whole time!?" She said, flipping her blankets everywhere as she got up.

"Calm down, like you're obseesed with me, I'm obsessed with you- so don't worry." He smiled, cupping her right cheek.

"But... I...!" Ruby was at a loss of words.

"Hush, now sleep!" He said, putting his pointer finger in front of his lips, while winking. This made Ruby's heart drop as she obeyed him and sank into her soft pillow, and so did he. This was the best moment ever for the both of them. Ruby in Taehyung's arms, as she slept under his chin level. Soon, both of the obsessed pair of friends fell asleep- despite their restless hearts.
