Jin stared at the pinkette as she furiously clicked on her phone. The pinkette's eyes widened in shock and she threw her phone down on th bed and groaned.
"Why the eff can I not clear this effing level?!" She whined, clearly frustrated. The ravenette just blinked at her, sighing.
"You shouldn't play that much, it's gonna ruin your eyes." He warned.
"Meh, who cares." Angel carelessly crashed down on the bed, facing the ceiling.
"Your family, of course." He replied, sitting down on the couch comfortably.
"Doubt that. I know my friends will though." She smiled to herself after growling at the first sentence.
"Why? Where is your family anyway? As far as I know, you're the youngest, and you moved out before any of your friends." Jin stated, making Angel turn to the left side, facing away from Jin.
"I don't know, why don't you tell me." She said in monotone voice, surprising the ravenette.
There was an awkward silence for one solid minute until Angel realised something.
"Wait! Is there a computer here?! I wanna play Golden Sun now!" She said as she looked around the room furiously.
"Nope, there are no computers here. Young woman, you need to sleep. I can see bags under your eyes. When the hell is your bed time?" Jin sighed, getting up and sitting next to where Angel was standing. Angel sat down next to Jin and whined.
"I can't live without it." She groaned, making Jin sigh again.
"Why don't you try spending more time with your family. The autobiographies about you tell me that you were the only one who doesn't even visit her parents." Jin looked Angel in the eyes, trapping her gaze from leaving his. She realised that her eyes were watery and decided to look away, only to be brought back to his captivating gaze by his hands.
"Look at me. I know you're hiding something in those eyes of yours." He spoke seriously, slightly scaring Angel.
"I-I-" She stuttered before a drop of water left her light indigo eye. Jin went into a state of panic and realised what he had done.
"I'm sorry...! That was a mistake...! Forgive my inconvenience!" He apologised, "Why are you crying?" He finally calmed down and wiped the tears off her face.
"Y-you're mean. You were supposed to be the motherly type. Oh wait never mind, you just proved my point," she chuckled at her own joke, "but I didn't think you'd notice it."
Her chuckled died down and the room was in pin drop silence.
"I-" she hesitated and looked at Jin, who stared back. She sighed and continued, "was the last born child in my family." She looked at Jin, who nodded in encouragement.
"I was never appreciated. They didn't expect me to be born, so they discouraged me from everything. Even planned to stop my schooling at some point. Thinking I was a waste of time and money." The pinkette let a few drops of tears run down her cheeks, she sniffled a bit and adverted her eyes to Jin.
"I was mentally abused every single day, until one day I was fed up of everything and decided to run away. My friends helped me with my financial problems as well as any other problems I had along the way. So that's why, I never want to see my family EVER again. I was planning on living my life with them and become a YouTuber." She slightly chuckled at the last sentence.
"That was until you mugs came along and ruined our lives." She joked, trying to stop herself from crying. Jin's eyes softened and hugged the crying pinkette.
"Hush..." his voice was like sweet honey to her ears. She soon stopped crying, but Jin was still hugging her. Soon, there was an awkward atmosphere.
"Yo, dude, do you play Maplestory?" Angel asked, stopping the awkward air from getting unbreathable. The ravenette nodded enthusiastically.
"I heard there was this game called flappy golf but never got the chance to play it." He let out a cute sigh.
"Ok, I'll teach you how to play Flappy Golf on the phone, okay?" Angel asked, earning a nod from the ravenette, she smiled.
They played games the rest of the night, and Jin surprisingly cleared the level Angel was stuck on. Angel looked irritated, yet proud to train such a skilled gamer. Jin, on the other hand, was indifferent. He was just happy Angel was back to her goofy self.
"Okay, Angel, bedtime." Jin said strictly.
"Awww come on, one more game." Angel pouted.
"You've been saying that for three hours." Jin squeezed his temples.
"You sleep now." He carried her bridal style towards her side of the bed and laid her down there. He pulled up her blanket and went towards the couch.
"Aren't you going to sleep on your side of the bed?" Angel asked.
"I'm a guy, so you probably don't want me there." He replied.
"Yo, dude, that couch looks uncomfortable, sleep here. All warm and cozy." She patted the space next to her. Jin internally smirked and went to his side of the bed and laid down, hugging the short female.
"Um..." Angel blushed.
"What? You asked for this." Jin stated plainly, but a smirk could be detected from the way he was speaking. Angel looked up, only to blush harder at his smirking face. She immediately looked down and shut her eyes close.
"Sleep! Idiot!" She was flustered.
"Look who's talking." Jin said sarcastically, before they dozed off. Even if Jin slept peacefully, Angel's heart was beating real hard-until at some point she fell asleep, listening to Jin's rhythmic breathing.
