"No..." I whispered. "We can't be." Tears were rolling down my face.

"They're about to release him. Fair warning, his father told him... that you are... also working with the Death Eaters."

I slid down the wall. I buried my face in my hands. "Thank you, anyways. You can go."

She walked away.

I sat against the wall crying until I heard the door to the hospital wing open. I stood up and looked Amos Diggory in the eye.

"You," I pointed at him. "Are a cruel human being. Especially to do this to your own son. This affects him probably just as much as it affects me. He just doesn't know it."

"I'm just doing what's best for my son. He needs to see you as the evil person you are." He responded.

"You doing this is more evil than I will ever be." I snapped.

"Williams, don't fight with my father." Demanded a voice from behind Amos. I felt more tears roll down my cheek when I heard Cedric speak.

"Okay then... I'll just go... see you in the common room, Cedric." My voice was shaking. I walked down the hall, and as soon as I was out of sight, I started running. Once I got into the Hufflepuff common room, I was greeted by a large hug from Vivienne. We sat on the couch and I cried into her shoulder.

"I was too late... I was too late." I sobbed.

"I know, it will be okay. He will remem—." She stood up. She must have read something in someone's mind.

"Viv, why is she here? She should be in Slytherin." I heard Cedric say. That's why should stood up.

"If you are going to act like this towards her, the girl that you told you love only hours earlier, you can consider us not friends." Vivienne snapped.

"Why would I tell her I love her?" Cedric asked.

I curled up into a ball on the couch.

"Because you do!" Vivienne shrieked.

"But I—." Vivienne cut him off.

"No! Don't even say that! Now if you'll excuse me, I have an idea, and Estelle here is going to help me with it." Vivienne said. She grabbed my wrist and dragged me up to our dorm.

"Eileen is a Legilimens?" Vivienne asked.

"Yes," I confirmed. "Pretty powerful, why?"

"She can put images into people's minds?"

"Yeah... that's how we planned to stop Amos from taking Cedric's memory."

"I think that's also how we can get it back."

"What do you mean?"

"I think... we can put images of things like the Yule Ball and your dates into his mind to make him remember." She suggested.

"Oh my god... that might work." I whispered.

"Go get your sister."

I shot up and started to run out of the dorm. I bumped into someone in the common room and almost fell. Someone caught me.

"I'm sorry." I said, getting out of the person's arms. I looked up to see Cedric. He frowned. I turned around because I felt someone looking through my mind. Vivienne was standing there, arms crossed and also frowning. Her frown changed to a mysterious smile.

"Hmm... mysterious." She said. I looked at her questioningly but she walked back into the dorm.

I pursed my lips, and studied Cedric's face one more time. I then left to retrieve my sister from the Great Hall.

"Eileen!" I spotted my sister sitting with her friends at the Slytherin table. It was a chaotic day. Classes were cancelled because of the task. Everyone was scattered through hallways, classrooms, common rooms, and the Great Hall.

Eileen looked at me.

"Vivienne has a plan to help Cedric. She needs your help because you're a more powerful Legilimens" I told her. She grinned.

"Let's do this." Eileen said. She apologized to her friends for leaving. I showed her the way to the Hufflepuff dorms.

As soon as we walked into the common room, Eileen and Vivienne started a silent conversation by reading each other's minds. I could only guess what they were saying.

Vivienne was beaming at Eileen. Eileen frowned, and then Vivienne did too. Eileen sighed. Vivienne laughed, and smiled an assuring smile. It was weird.

"Cedric!" Vivienne called. "I want to talk to you." She had a mischievous twinkle in her eye.
