Falling For Him

The sound of my alarm wakes me up,I sit up on my bed immediately still disoriented,what day was it yesterday? What day is it today?  Uhh it's Monday again. I drag myself out of bed and walk to my wardrobe,time to start getting ready for work.

Some hours later I'm walking into my office building. Something is different today,I see Jessica at the front desk instead of Eva. " Hey girl" an excited Jessica says to me " hey"? "where's Eva? "oh so apparently Eva got a promotion,she's now Mr Gold's p.a, she was just securing this position for me". " that's nice,I wish she would have told me,we would have done something nice". Eva gives me a guilty look "it was supposed to be a surprise,so act surprised when she tells you" " okay, I gotta hurry, see you at lunch" " okay, remember to act surprise" " yeah yeah". The morning flew by real quick and before I knew it it was time for lunch, grabbing my purse,I hurried to the elevator in order to catch up with Eva and Jessica. When I get off the elevator,I see them both at the front desk waiting for me," oh meg there you are,I was just about to call you" Eva says immediately she sees me. " I'm sorry I'm late,I lost track of time" "that's alright,she just got here anyway" Jessica tells me. " notice anything different"? Eva says to me "uhh...your hair"? " yeah that,anything else"? " nope" I say popping the p " Jessica is at the front desk now,not me" " uhh.... In my defense you both are at the front desk right now" I say to Eva " yes smart ass,actually I got promoted,you're looking at Mr Gold's new p.a" " wow,really,are you serious?, that's amazing" I say trying my best to look surprised,I think I pull it off because I can see Jessica behind Eva giving me the thumbs up,while Eva smiles oblivious to what's happening behind her. " okay girls,time to eat, lunch is on me." An excited Eva says, " I've been waiting for that all day" Jessica says chuckling a little.

After lunch, the rest of the day went by in a blur and soon it was 4pm already,after packing up my things,I go to Mr Reed's  office to check if he needed anything before leaving,I open his door without knocking,and I wish I did, because the sight before was like a page out of an erotic book. Mr Brown is sitting on the couch with a woman straddling him,one of her nipples was in his mouth,while his hands where cupping her ass. I don't think they noticed me,if they did,they didn't seem to mind,I slowly closed his door,I guess he won't be needing anything, I can't help but wonder if that's the reason he's been so nice lately. I grab my stuffs from my office and head to the elevator, when I get home,I'm gonna take a long bath,and relax,order pizza and open a bottle of wine. What can I say,I love to pamper myself. I'm brought back to reality by the sound of the elevator opening,I walk out of the elevator,and head over to the front desk to say goodbye to Jessica. Rather I'm met with a distraught looking Eva " thank goodness meg you're here,I was just about to call you" " okay?,I'm here now" " I need you to come with me to the tattoo parlor,my piercing is bleeding" " okay, let's go" " call me,later,I need to know how it goes,I have dinner plans,I can't cancel" a worried Jessica says, " damn girl,you've been in town for like 2 days and you already have a dinner date?, I'm impressed" Jessica scoffs," I wish, it's kinda like a family thing,my mum's cousin,invited me to dinner with her family,I have to go if I don't want to be a topic in my village women's meeting, I can hear the announcement already, Emilia's daughter,too important for family." Jessica tells me with a straight face,I think she's joking and I start to laugh " trust me she's not joking, you've not been in trouble until a group of Nigerian mother's,call for a meeting just to discuss your matter" Eva tells me " wow that's pretty intense".

After leaving the office, I and Eva drive to the tattoo parlor, all through the drive,I keep thinking if Mr Greek god will he remember me? I mean how many people have made a great impression like I did ?. I'm brought out of my thinking when Eva opens the door,that's when I realized we've arrived already,I open the door and step out too. Walking in we see Jason behind the counter, he smiles when he sees us, it's Eva and the klutz... Damn I didn't think they would forget me,but I didn't think they'll give me a name. Eva says hi to him, " what can I do for you lovely ladies" at least he thinks I'm lovely. Eva tells him the problem and he ushers her into the room they used the other day,leaving me alone,I decide to look at pictures of tattoos on the wall. " back for more" a rich husky voice I remember says behind me I turn around and standing in front of me is Mr Greek god, damn this boy is hottt, I mentally tell myself not to embarrass myself in front of this gorgeous boy again, I don't think it worked because he says " you think I'm gorgeous?,well I think you're beyond gorgeous" I send a quick thank you to God for making me black,if not my face would have looked like an over ripped tomatoes from blushing too much not knowing what to say I simply just stare at him, I think he's enjoying this because he says " you know a picture would last longer right" I seem to get my confidence back because I take out my phone,and take a picture of him and say," why didn't I think of that before,thanks for the reminder". I think his shocked,hell I'm shocked too but he's quick to cover it with a laugh and says " I like you Megan" I thank my stars I'm black again cos this gorgeous boy standing in front of me makes me blush again, I think I still got that confidence because I say " I like you too Greek god" with a stupid grin on my face. He starts to laugh before saying "my name is Alex, can I see your phone" confused, I give him my phone,and he starts to type on it,I hear a notification sound,he brings out his phone from his pocket and hands mine back to me then he says " now you have my number and I have yours,I don't have to beat myself up for not getting your number the last time you were here" he wanted my number " yes I did, I thought u were gorgeous too" what is it with me and saying my thoughts out loud,I think I said out loud again because he chuckles and says " what am I going to do with you Megan?" Whatever you want Greek god,I make sure not to say this out loud. He's about to say something again when Eva walks out with Jason and they're both smiling,Jason whispers something to Eva before saying " lex make sure to get her number this time" " won't make the same mistake twice" Alex says while looking at me. Damn this boy has got me whipped once again I don't realize I said that out loud until he says, " really,cos I feel the same way". While still looking at me, we're interrupted by Eva " are you guys done or will you start to suck each other's face now,if it's the former, Megan we got to go,I'm starving" I reluctantly remove my gaze from him to look at Eva and I see her standing by the door already, " uhh goodnight lex" " goodnight doll face" he says to me smiling,I can't help but smile too while I follow Eva out to  the car. " I think he likes you," Eva tells me with a smile on her face " Jason told me how he kept wishing he got your number the last time we were here " she tells me while still smiling " yeah he told me too,I think I might like him too" I tell her. " you go girl, trust me,you deserve it,after Scott I think it's time to put yourself out there again,just take it slow" " thanks Eva,I will and besides I think things will be different this time" Eva drops me off before heading to her place.it turns out that the bleeding was nothing serious. I check my time and see I still have time to Carry out my plans.
After a long bath, I'm settled in front of my tv with a glass of wine and pizza time to enjoy a little Riverdale before bed. I hear the notification sound of my phone,I pick it up to see a text and I can't stop the smile that forms on my face. It was just a simple text that said " home already"? I noticed he saved his number as Greek god and he sent a message to himself earlier. I typed a quick reply to him. I'm about to drop my phone when my phone rings I pick up immediately "hey gorgeous", can my smile get any wider? We talk a little before saying goodnight. And just like the first time I saw him,I can't keep the smile off my face even when I'm in bed ready to sleep, and I can't help but think that it would be so easy to fall for this gorgeous boy. I think I'm in trouble.
