Maybe This Time

First day

I woke up to the "Wonderful" sound of screaming from the women i have to call my mother.

I started to shove my pillow back over my face before I remembered what day it was. It was my first day of high school.

I knew I had to "dress to impress" for the first day of my freshman year. I slid on my favorite jean shirt and my favorite skirt. And to top it off I wore my floral scarf.

I ran downstairs to find the one and only, my best friend Daniel having the stupidest conversation with my older brother Jonah.

I rolled my eyes when I heard Daniel say "Your sister takes hours to get ready dude. Will she ever be ready? We are seriously gonna be late to our FIRST day of high school"!

I got annoyed by what he was saying, so I just decided to step into the conversation " Well I mean do I have to remind you that I took almost a FULL HOUR trying to wake you up so we didn't miss the plane to Chicago. Your lucky we didn't miss the plane!"

Jonah Started to laugh but I sent him a death Stare from across the room and he immediately stop laughing. "Can we just get to school already" I said groaning and taking my piece of toast.

Jonah, Daniel, And I got into Jonah's Black Chevy. I looked at the driveway when we started to leave and I noticed that my mums car isn't in the driveway. Jonah.. Where did Loe go...?

So Loe is my Mum. If you were wondering. Mine and Jonah's Dad left when I was in my first year in Elementary school and Jonah was in 4th grade. It didn't really bother me at that point because my brother was there and stuck by my side the whole time.
