Magic Dust

"Mikey get down here!" Yells a very annoyed Gerard.

"What!" Mikey calls from his room.

"Just get down here." Gerard said this time more nicely.

Mikey got up from his papers and walked to the door, annoyed at Gee for interrupting his work. He sighed and walked out of his room to his older brother.

"What?" Mikey asked as he reached the bottom step.

"Step down more Mikes im not ganna hurt you." Gerard said playfully.

Mikey rolled his eyes but obeyed Gerard. He stepped down more, and was now face to face to a much shorter Gerard.

"What do you want Gee?" Mikey asked crossing his arms.

"What is that?" Gee said pointing to a mess of sparkly powder dust.

Mikey fallowed his finger, as soon as it landed on the dust Mikeys face turned red.

"Crap!" He called out, running over to the dust.

He bent down trying to pick it all up. Gerard looked down at his younger brother who he adored, his eyes went from Mikey to the spilled dust on the floor.

"What is it?" Gerard asked again.

Mikey looked away, embarrassed.

"It's nothing Gee." Mikey said, continuing to pick up the powder.

"Mikey." Gerard said bending down next to him.

"Mikey Wikey what is it?" Gerard asked.

"I don't wanna tell you." Mikey said looking away again.

Gerard looked at Mikey with hurt eyes, it was unlike Mikey to keep secrets from him.

"Mikey, you know i love you... I wont make fun of you." Gerard said hugging him tight.

"It's magic unicorn dust!" Mikey cried out.

Gerard fell back laughing.

"Magic.. Unicorn.. Dust! You got to be kidding me!" Gerard yelled still laughing.

"That why i wouldnt tell you!" Mikey cried, running up the stairs to his room.

"Mikey wait stop.. Im sorry!" Gerard called out, but you could still hear his amusement.

Mikey slammed the door shut. He kicked at his papers on the ground.

"Stupid Gerard." Mikey said to himself.

He looked down at the papers he just kicked and started to pick them up. On the papers where Mikeys plans of finding his unicorn friend Sparkles. Sparkles had gone missing when he was 6 years old. Mikey's heart was broken when Sparkles left him. He somehow knew Sparkles was in trouble, he would never just leave him like that.

He had told his parents about it, they just thought Sparkles was his imaginary friend, just a phase he was going through. Little did they know that Sparkles was real and needed there help. He even tried talking to Gerard about it. But Gerard being the older brother, had made fun of him and told their friends Frank and Ray about it, which they held over his head until he turned 16. From then on he kept his screaching for Sparkles to himself.

But he was getting close to finding him. He could feel it in his heart. He knew Sparkles was close. He was just worried what Gerard, Frank and Ray would say when they find out he's still looking for him. Probably think he was still crazy, but Mikey didnt care, he was getting his best friend back.
