I'm sane.

Chapter 1.

HYRA P.O.V
"LETS GO Athens!" The guard said. I got up and gathered my stuff. He looked me up and down.
"You know when you first got here i was wondering why in the hell a young girl like you was in here, but then i heard what you did to your parents...i saw the pictures...i have never seen anything like it." When i stayed quiet and kept walking forward he continued talking. "You know your not even suppose to be getting out right now. Your lucky."
I laughed at that. "I'm lucky? Bullshit."
He rolled his eyes and kept talking. "Yeah lucky...you're 16 you're suppose to leave at 18...but apparently your grandparents paid the warden to let you out...extra pay, something the warden couldn't pass up on. I don't know why those people still love you i would have hated you if you killed my child, but i guess we all think differently." He looks me up and down and says "example."
"Ok." I say.
"You really have no heart." He says opening the double doors.
"Oh"
I look around and everybody is staring at me. My eyes land on my grandmother. She turns to see what everyone is looking at and she....smiles. I furrow my eyebrows confused with her gesture. She runs toward me and hugs me.
"Oh Hyra I've missed you." She says crying.
I hear everybody whisper around us. When i whip my head around they shut up.
Of course.
"Baby i know this is going to be hard to adjust to but you will get use to it."
"Grandparents..."
"What?" She says confused.
"The Guard said grandparents, plural."
She looks down and opens her mouth to explain. "Yeah...when your grandfather found out that i was trying to talk to the court about letting you out...he made me choose between you or him...i said you. He left. But i don't care. I know you. You were so sweet and when i found out what your parents use to do to you i cried every night..even if your dad was my son. He was a horrible man." She said looking down.
"How much did you pay?" I said.
"$600 million."
I looked at her with wide eyes, confused.
"Why that much?"
"I offered so many prices they kept saying no your to dangerous.. so I offered $600 million and they excepted well by they I mean the warden he was so hesitant but he gave up when I kept on bugging him." She looked at me.
"I missed you...it's been 6 years since i saw you...let's go home Hyra, put this on."
She handed me a hoodie and i put it on and put the hood on my head to cover my face. We left out the doors and next thing i see is lights, cameras. My grandmother grabs on to me and leads me to her car everybody is shouting. A camera got so close to my face i lost it. I grabbed the camera and smashed it. They all took a step back and grandmother And i kept walking. When we got to the car i closed the door and took the hoodie off and put my seat belt on. We drove off.
"They took you hours away from our town so we will be there in 3 hours Aj." I whipped my head around at that nickname surprised she used it.
Aj is short for Athen Jean. Jean is my middle name but they switched my names around cause "JA" wouldn't make since.
"Go to sleep Hyra, this will be a long ride."
And with that i drifted off to sleep.
