In the morning, he felt his back itch so decided to let out his wings sohe did and it was like relief flew through his body to know that he couldstretch his wings and it wasn't painful or as loud as it was in the beginning.
Sadly after stretching his wings, he decided to follow the pull on his chest.(He took a Uber and told him directions on where the pull was leading him)The pull leaded him to the Grand Park in Downtown LA and when hewalked towards where the pull was most intense and there in front of himwas the most beautiful person he had ever laid his eyes on.
She waswearing very little makeup and her hair was down in soft waves and shewas sitting near the water fountains reading a book. He slowly approachedher and introduced himself and found out her name was Lola and when hewent to shake her hand a group of men was running towards them withknives and Ryder knowing he wanted to keep her safe took a protectivestance in front of Lola but Lola also knowing how to fight stood besideRyder and got ready to fight the men and the men didn't look too strong infact they looked pretty thin. Ryder and Lola each fought them with ease.
Ryder and Lola didn't want too much attention on them so they quickly ranfrom the scene into a nearby cafe. He felt tingle on his arm and realized onthe run here she had grabbed his hand and the tingles felt incredible andaddictive. Lola and Ryder then took a seat in a booth away from othertables and started chatting about how she learned how to fight and she toldhim that her mother taught her how to.
During their chat, they orderedsome food and drinks and Lola didn't care who was watching and startedshoving food in her mouth.Ryder knew then that he really liked her maybeeven loved her but he wasn't sure so he dismissed it.
When they werefinished, Ryder being taught to be a gentlemen all his life paid for theirmeals and they both exchanged numbers, gave each other a hug and tookan Uber to take them home. Lola had an apartment near Ryder's hotel sothey took the same Uber. On Lola's stop Ryder couldn't help but give her akiss on the cheek and he felt sparks flow everywhere on his face and body.Lola blushed and ran to her apartment.
Lola in her apartment, read thesame book she found on her way home from work and little did Ryder knowshe was just like him and both Ryder and Lola have and completed thesame tasks.
