Inuyasha didn't come back after that night, and a month had passed since then, I was more than depressed. It felt so weird without him there, I was lonely.

Akami and Misaki made up, and we broke up, or at I think we did.

"Bastard," I whispered looking at the setting sun from my window, "you know what I don't even care anymore."

I jumped down from the window and walked to the mirror, I touched the dark circles underneath my eyes and smiled, "look at what you've done to me."

'That's it!' I pushed myself away from my reflection and walked out of the room, I ran down the stairs, grabbed my keys and left that cursed house.

I remembered what he had said one day, 'Rima, you shouldn't be outside at night, you could be killed.'

"Yeah right," I mumbled and walked down the street.

I wasn't surprised he left, after all everyone I know abandoned me, my mother, my father, my friends.. The only one I had left was Misaki.

And I couldnt blame them, after all I gave my parents a reason to kick me out. I wasn't what they wanted me to be, I was different. But I probably never actually thought about it, so here goes, the truth behind my present.

My name is Kiryuu Rima, I am a 20 years old college student, my mother is the CEO of one of the biggest companies in Japan, our family has always rich, in fact we were one of the nobles in the old times, and that legacy kept on going. At least until it reached me.. When I was younger, I was home schooled until I became a high school student, only then did they let's go to one of the most expensive schools in the world. You would think that I became an obnoxious princess but no.. I was the opposite of the princess the wanted me to be, I liked adventures, I liked to have fun, I liked video games, I hated fancy clothes, hated how many people pampered me, I hated how people wanted to be my friends because of who I was. They tried to make sure I became the next CEO since my brother was gay but I applied to a different college, and I got in.

I was studying medicine instead of business, so they made Misaki start studying business since I let them down. A year later my parents got divorced and mother remarried Misaki's father, only then things became like hell, he was abusive to both me and Misaki so I moved out first, then Misaki moved in with Akami.

"Rima?" my train of thoughts was cut by a familiar voice, I looked at him and smiled widely.

"Dad!" I ran to him and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"Rima, thank god... I heard you moved out but they wouldn't tell me where, I've been looking all over for you," he seemed scared of something.

"Is everything okay?"

"We need to get you and Misaki out of here! they're going to overturn."

"Who dad?"

"Vampires," he said opening the passenger door for me.

"Huh?"

"The vampires are going to try and overturn the human government, we need to get you out of here," he said as I got into the car.

"Why?" I asked.

He got into the driver seat and started the car, "because you're my daughter that's why.. I am part if the underground human government police, my job is to keep the vampires at bay."

I looked at him surprised, "dad I don't get it."

"You and Misaki will travel overseas, you will be hidden in my mansion in Alaska."
