We managed to get to Akami's house safely, I got off the wolf's back with Inuyasha's help. He wrapped his arm protectively around my waist and started leading me to the house.

I looked back to the wolf, and found him sitting there looking at the forest. Ready for anything that might come our way.

"Rima?"

I looked up at Inuyasha and found looking at me with a worried expression. "Sorry, I got distracted."

He shook his head smiling and guided me inside the house. The moment i stepped inside, I was engulfed in a pair of arms and pulled to a very familiar chest.

"Thank God... Rima.."

"Misaki, I am fine don't worry."

"I saw the fire on TV, and I heard Inuyasha yelling then I saw go in and then they cut it off, I thought something had happened," he leaned back and cupped my face, he then planted a small kis on my forehead. "What would I do without you?"

"Akami," I heard Inuyasha mumble.

"Yeah, let's go talk, sir please follow me."

I watched as my dad and the two vampires go in the office room, I looked up at Misaki and found him staring at the window.

"They're here."

"Can they come in?" I asked putting a hand on the gun dad gave me.

"No, Akami said no vampire but the king has been invited in," Misaki said as he let me go and went to grab a silver sword.

"Then why are you...?"

"Just in case," he said smiling.

"Did he tell you anythimg else?" I asked glaring back at a vampire who was glaring at me.

"Not all the vampires are after Inuyasha," Misaki said.

"Why are they after him in the first place?" I asked.

"Because he stopped killing humans," he answered looking at me.

"Huh?"

"Akami told me what some vampires told him. He said after you moved in, he never hurt you and now even though he's out he didn't feed on anyone, he lost the monster inside of him."

It was my fault they were after him? With that thought I dropped my arm to my side and stared at the ground. If Inuyasha died then it would be my fault and there is no way I would ever be able to live without him.

I heard the office's door open and Inuyasha walked out, he looked at me then opened his arms. But I couldn't move, I was frozen in place, they wanted to kill him because of ME.. Such an amazing and caring person, gone. Because of my existence.

"Bitch."

I looked up in surprise, and found him just a few inches away. "Who gave you the right to think that way?"

"What..."

"This is not because of you!" He yelled, his eyes blazing red. I have never seen him this angry.
