Why?

(Hayes POV)

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock. I forgot that I had my phone on high volume. I unlocked my phone and let my eyes adjust to the screens light. I clicked SNOOZE on my home screen and with that, I couldn't hear the alarm anymore.

I got up and checked the time. 9:05. I walked to Lizzie's room. I knocked on the door knowing she was up. She was an early bird. "Babe?" I asked. "Come in..." I walked in and saw her getting into sport shorts. She had a purple tank top on with the shorts and purple and green sneakers. Her hair was tied up really high. "You look very pretty today." I said happily. "thanks. I'm gonna go on a hike. Wanna come?" she asked. Hmmm... "Yazz" I laughed.

I ran back to my room and put on a pair of black shorts and a plain red tee. I slipped on a pair of Nike iD running shoes and went back to Lizzie's room. "Leggo!" I jumped up and down. "Okay!"

"How much longer?" I asked as I panted. "Almost at the top." Liz grunted. We were jogging and I was literally almost dead. I finished my water a long time ago and Lizzie's spilled. She began to run a little faster so I caught up. "Why are you running a lot faster?" I was curious.

(Lizzie's POV)

I saw Cat. I hate her. She is one of Joeys friends and I just hate her. •No actual hate to Cat :*• she's all over Joey and whenever she comes to Joeys place and I'm there, She just shoves Joey up to his room. Yeah sure just take Joey away when Im talking to him... "No real reason" I lied. "Oh" Hayes sighed. I was almost passed her but then she came over to me.

"Watch out" she smiled deviously. The next thing I remembered was laying on the ground with pain In my right leg. That little...ugh. She pushed me. Well she tripped me. "Liz!" someone yelled. Hayes picked me up and I got on his back. I HATE her. Oh my god.

We finally made it down the hill and Jerome and Aaron came to pick us up. I got in their car and rested my leg on Hayes' lap. "She may have a broken leg. Some girl tripped her and Liz almost tumbled down the whole hill. I got really worried. Can we go to the hospital?" Hayes asked. "Please?" I shifted my leg. "Let's go" Aaron gestured his hands in the way of the hospital.

(Hayes POV)

We made it into the hospital and Lizzie is in surgery. Her mom came in and so did everybody in Magcon. Her brothers and sister were here too. Nicole brought Jet home. He wasn't feeling okay. So I'm waiting for 2:30pm to come. That's when guests are allowed in the room. Five more minutes.

"you may come in" the doctor informed us. I nodded and went into Lizzie's room with her parents. "Hey baby" I smiled. "hi." she answered. "Poor baby girl..." her dad seemed to be embarrassing her. Turns out Liz did have a broken leg.

Hours of everyone talking to each-other went by and we all had to leave. Im planning on staying with Lizzie the whole night. It's 8:00. The whole six hours I have spent In This hospital has been tiring. Everybody has left and I have climbed into the hospital bed with Lizzie. "Uhm. Hayes?" Liz questioned. "yeah baby?" I asked her. "I-I love you" she stuttered. I could tell she meant it. Her eyes glowed and her nostrils flared. She always does that when she's honest. I gulped and said, "I love you too." I also meant it.

I woke up around 8:00. As usual. Lizzie was already on her phone. "Good morning." she smiled. I nodded my head. "Today you leave. Then you can go back to your comfortable bed at home." "yay!" she yawned.

Ok so thats that. I hope you guys are liking this story. To be honest, I'm not having fun writing it. Is that bad? Yes...? I have stuff planned but I just want to hold that stuff back. It would be too soon to make those parts. So I still don't have any comments helping me with ideas. Like what you guys want. Just this time... Comment and tell me what you guys want.
