"What in the name of our saviour are we doing?" said Paul nervously as he placed his hands on his head "I think I'm going mad Crest, we're fugitives of the law" he added as he grabs Crest in the collar shaking him

"Calm down knuckle head, it's not like you're going to prison or something." said Val as she opens the car's window.

"We were about to, but your friend here brought us into this mess." said Paul as he points at the driver

"Hey, you should be glad she saved your ass, if it hadn't been for her, you'd be a caged hobo  trapped in a small caskett." exclaimed Val

Paul shrugged and snubbed at Val then went silent. He didn't want to argue with her, she was way too fierce to talk to.

"So where are heading?" asked Crest still confused at the situation

"Someplace called the Capitol" answered Val as she opens a magazine "Heard of it?"

"No." said Crest and Paul in unison

"I wasn't talking to you knuckle head." said Val

"Look, I don't know what silly trick or prank you're trying to pull here but there's no such thing as the Capitol in Riverdale. I've been visiting this place for a while and I know there's no such thing." said Paul trying to bungle his hands since it was still handcuffed.

"Riverdale?" asked Val "Where the hell is Riverdale? We're in Cysteria you twit."

"Say what now?" said Crest leaning trying to catch up with their conversation.

Paul laughed a bit then settled a little until his laughter turned into a cry as he started to feel insane from this trip. He drove his head on Crest's shoulder sobbing.

"Something wrong with him?" asked Val

"Nope, he's just tired." remarked Crest

"So you're not from around here huh?" asked Val

"Well technically, yeah." answered Crest

"What did I do to deserve this?" moaned Paul.

"Oh quit crying you knuckle head, were not even dead" muttered Val as she poked Paul who turned to her face.

"Yet." she added

Paul continued to groan and hid his face in Crest's arm knowing he's going to have a bad time.

Val stared at Crest trying to read what was on his mind.

"How come you're not panicking like your friend here?" she asked as she points at Paul.

"I don't really know. Maybe it's the hangover that's dulled me a bit." answered Crest

"So who's the girl driving?" he asked

"Oh that's Meko, my bodyguard." said Val

"Hey Meko!" greeted Crest

Meko took off her helmet while driving and nodded at him. She was sharp, her expressions were dull and her hair was cashew which bounced a bit every time the car hit a rock or a bump.

"She's kinda silent all the time." remarked Val

"So what's the deal with you guys? Haven't really known much about you yet." said Crest

"Oh, we're just part of an organization here in Cysteria." she smiled "We're just people trying to make a change."

"Oh. So basically, you guys are what exactly?" asked Crest

"Well, it's not mine to say." answered Val "Father Sarsoza will tell you all about it when we get there."

"Fair enough" said Crest

"So who's this Father Sarsoza?" he asked

"Oh, he's just an old priest from around here but he's also our leader, everybody knows him here, in fact, they're afraid of him."

"So, a priest holds the rebellions here?"

"Yep. He's a good one too."

"Huh." snarled Crest having no idea what he's into.

The car throttled faster as they approached the highway. Meko was a trained driver and even in traffic they went past the other cars smoothly.

"Mind if I take a detour, Val?" asked Meko

"Sure, Father Sarsoza isn't expecting us til 3, so, go ahead." answered Val

"You guys ok?" asked Val as she turned to the two beside her.

"I'm fine with that. But I'm not so sure with the guy beside me." answered Crest as he taps Paul.

Paul didn't react and just froze.

"Something's wrong with him." remarked Val.

"I think he's asleep." said Crest as he looked at Paul

Val smiled and giggled a bit until she heard Paul snore which made Val break into laughter.

"Alright, I'll just leave you two alone." said Val as she stares into the wind sheild

Meko turned to look at them and smiled

The car drove on. They passed through a lot of landmarks as Val kept talking to Crest about the place and what she loved about it.

The car stopped by a little motel. It wasn't significant and nothing was really nice about it. The place was barren and there was barely anything worth watching.

A woman began walking towards the car. She was a tall girl, her hair was jet black and she had a dark shade that matched her hair's color.

She rode in the front seat next to Meko.

"So, you got it?" asked Meko

"Yeah, looks like it was easier than you told me." answered the woman.

The woman hands Meko a pouch then she starts to turn on the radio.

Val, Crest and Paul went silent. They didn't want to intrude on the conversation.

A man went out of one of the rooms in the motel waving his arms around trying to catch after them.

"We better get this to Sarsoza as soon as possible." said the woman

The car immediately throttled and sped up leaving the motel in an instant.

"So Meko, who's the purple head chick with the two guys?" asked the woman as she turns around to take a look at them

"Well, the chick over there is Valentine, the two are just here to tag along." answered Meko

"Ah, the infamous Valentine Arios." said the woman as she turns to Val "Nice to finally meet you, I'm Santi, Meko's partner."
