SHE, HE

116 24 5

She looked around the room
avoiding his eyes
Everytime he move
She is quite aware of

Their favorite song was played
He meant to let her hear the song
He was waiting for her to look at
him
Every opportunity to be near her
or lucky eye contact
is worth for every sweat he spend

The pressure changed of his
fingers
his feet shuffling beside hers
arms shifting, brushing her dress
She felt ridiculous pretending not to notice

He slipped his hands over her waist,
wondering how much she kept on diet
Forgotten to take her meal on morning
Wished he could at least feed her on the evenings

His battered one eye was healing
the bruise had almost vanished
And the the blotches on his face
were absent
just as she imagined

Valentine Day's a good
opportunityto dress decent
and look shaved and masculine
The last thing he wanted
is for her to notice
how many men,
he pulled off,
missing her dances

She thought, " All evidence of that horrible night disappeared,
leaving only the stinging memories"

As if he knew what she thought,
" And this time, I would do right
for you, I'll stop fighting, I'll stop
the old habit. "

His blue eyes plead as it danced beneath the flipping bar lights,
and she watched
as she slowly shrugged off
the intensity that seemed to build
everytime he moved with the music

Closer, closer but not enough.
He was frustrated with the people
frustrated with himself, never in
his life, he'd be patient with a gal.
And when chances dived in,
he took a peck of her lips.

First kiss! First kiss!
His smirked widen as she
felt robbed by the contact.
He could definitely know
how shewould react,
and it has to do with
quick threat respone,

" You'll pay for this! "
