I spoke of you before
The moment I saw you
I told them how beautiful you are
You got glasses and I'm glad I'm reading when you pass me by
With my head down but sharp quick eyes,
I noticed your hands are like the epitome of lost piano keys I need to find
Your lips the curve of cupid's bow I have to kiss
You feet the padding feet of penguins flapping and flap! and flap!
Your body the hourglass of a model flower I had in many lives kept more than cat's nine lives
I could search for you ten-fold of this earth and mirth on
the minerals and stones and sands and gravels which will be timid of my sacrificial love
Spending time determining your pet peeves, and sweet tooth lacks
Go figure how my patience kick out my depression because of your loss
how this heaviness in my heart felt every time I think about your absence the most
I would find you in places I know and only I know because
Coffee shops, libraries and art shops and studios where you visits, I came too
There is only one you, Nobody is like you
Faith lead me to you , And Thank God, lord don't sue
How bizarre, right?
Because if he wouldn't, then I don't know who could
I have past I want to keep but you-our future was all I see.
And it might sound so corny but I tried my very hardest to create a poem
I have crumpled papers I lost count and maybe I'll buy another bin but
I made a braille of book incase you wanna read,
I promise I wouldn't steal that.
So you can have the audacity to laugh, to smile
Because it makes you prettier, it makes you-you
I know you are the author of my romantic escapades, and safety spaces are your favorite days
I know you've been the singer in the lyrics I write and you never know I secretly sing it for you,
am I right?
And I know you are the most expensive guitar I stole by the music store
Or the last vintage collection sold I need to have that comes with a highest bid price
and more
You are berries when you smell good, by this part, you'll eventually know I like them too
And you are wild lilac when you stink, please, don't ever look down upon yourself
Don't cry for me, no
Don't hesitate because you are just right for me
And funny thing is, I haven't eaten that apple you gave me
When I cried for a subject,
You lend me apple in the places you least find
thinking I was a beggar on the streets
I know a lot of things and most are not free
I know a lot of things, love. I just do.
You have undergone becoming complicated, encountering difficult challenges, in ways I couldn't expect
