The next day you and Jug head to where Dilton and his scouts were. Jughead was asking about July fourth. You looked around and saw a scout staring at you and look away quickly. As you focused back to what Jughead and Dilton we're saying your went off. You apologize and answer the phone well walking away a bit

You hang up and walk to where Jug was standing alone. You try to smile but it comes out fake.
Jughead looks confused " who was it" he asked.
"Oh just a wrong number" you say.
"It doesn't take to long to say wrong number" he says " tell me the truth"
"It was Nick" you say then moving back to the topic of what just happened with Dilton. "Hey did you notice that one scout staring at us" he nodded. Then he explains on what to do next.
Later at pops with Jughead you see the scout and you wait until his father walks away to talk to him. When his dad leave Jughead goes to talk to him.
Once comes back he told you what the scout said about how Dilton shot the gun. You get a text from Nick that says

Jughead looked at your phone read the text he grabbed your phone and typed

You read what he just sent and smile and blush. "Thanks" you say.
