Hidden Name

Sitting on a chair in front  of the emergency room door, Natsu sat there half dead. Anxiously awaiting the results.

Some of the guild finally arrived with balloons and flowers cheering down the hall.

Happy flew forward "we finally get to add another member to our team! I wonder if it's a Boy or a....." happy paused as he saw Natsu sitting with his face laid in the palms of his hands. "N-Natsu?"

Happy flew forward to Natsu as the rest of the guild became aware of Natsu in the chair.

Ezra came running "Natsu! What happened, where's The baby, and Lucy!" She demanded

"Ezra back off he doesn't look to good" Gray defended.

Natsu didn't move an inch. He could barely breath. One second he was the happiest man alive and the next he's in a bad position.

Happy inches down under Natsu's face, between his legs "N-Natsu is t-the baby ok?" Natsu nodded and a sound of relief was heard from the guild members "I-Is it Lucy?"

All you heard was a whimper leave Natsu's mouth as tears caressed his face "w-we were l-looking a-at our s-son and s-sh...."

Levy came over "shh...shh....Natsu it's gonna be ok. Lu-chan is strong. She will do anything to see her baby again."

"That's right Natsu. Pick your head up this instant. We didn't let you marry Lucy to be a whimp!" Ezra demanded once more.

"That's right Natsu, shes got us" happy said holding Natsu's cheeks.

He looked up as the last drops of tears came down his face. He smiled weakly "right"

The guild members smiled back and waited with Natsu as they waited for the results.

After a couple of hours the doctor finally came out "um which one of you is Mr. Dragneel"
Everyone stood up.

The doctor was set aback "all of you?!"

"No just me." Natsu said stepping forward.

"So I have some good news and I have some bad news. Which one would you like first?"

Natsu sighed "good news"

"Well your wife is alive and your baby is healthy as can be." The whole guild started to cheer.  Jumping and hitting Natsu's back. Natsu's smile has never been so big.

Until levy came up "and the bad news?"

"I'm afraid to say your wife is in a coma"

Everyone paused, Natsu's smile faded "shes w-what?"

"It looks like she had a blood clot in her leg during our surgery and fell into a coma"

"So w-what can you do?" Happy intervened

"All we can do is wait for her to wake up. For now two of you can see her."

Nastus breath became shallow with every step. Gray followed behind him. The nurse pulled away the curtain to show Lucy with a machine to help her breath.

Walking up to her hand he grabbed hold so tight sitting in the chair next to her. He began whispering "Luce, stay s-strong. I-I'm so sorry we're always brought to the time periods where you have to suffer the most. I'm so sorry, Luce. P-please don't be in pain. P-Please..." he said as tears bursted out once more.

Gray has never seen Natsu so weak, so hurt. He watched for a few moments until the nurse came in.

"Um...I'm sorry to disturb you Mr. Dragneel. It's just I was wondering if you wanted to see your son."
