I walked into the living room where I found my mom. I sat on the opposite side of the couch and started a video.

"Mom,"

"Yes, honey." She looked at me.

"Zach is-"

"Is he not coming?" She looked sad.

"No no no, he is, but he's scared to meet you."

"What? Why?"

"He's afraid you won't like him, beat him up, yell at him, and kick him out."

"Nooo, I like him, we are gonna make him feel at home."

"Edwin said he will be awkward."

"Tell him that it's okay and I'm nice."

"Okay." I laughed.

"When does his flight leave?"

"I think he just got on it."

"How long is it?"

"I think 2 1/2 hours."

"Do we need to pick him up from the airport?"

"Mom that's like an hour and a half away."

"So? We need to welcome him, save his uber money."

"I'll ask him." I had ended the video within the conversation and sent it in the groupchat when I went to ask him.
