It's now Christmas and we're all opening presents. Shawn stands up and starts to cough loudly and everyone looks at him. "You ok? I can get you some meds' if you want or some water or," Cory started.
"I'm ok Cory. Now if I can have everyone's attention. Katy," he said taking my mothers hand with one of his own and with the other, he puts in his back pocket and pulls out a ring. You can hear people take a deep breath and hear some gasp. "Katy, I love you, I love you so much. And with your daughters permission," he asks looking at me. I have tears streaming down my face and I nod at him, saying yes. "Thank you. So I ask you this... will you marry me?" He asks and my mum says yes and I hug Shawn.
"Hi dad." He hugs me back and I'm suddenly pulled away by a very protective boyfriend.
"Mine!" Farkel said as he held me tight against him. Everyone laughs and Shawn and my mum kiss.
We get back to presents. I go to Farkle and hold out a small box. He looks at me and takes the box. He opens it only to pull out a note to meet me out side.
He stands and we walk out side in the cold air. We lean on one of the tables out side of Topanga's. "What's up?" He asks, and I kiss him. After a moment, he kisses back and we start making out. We pull away and Farkle pulls out a box, and gives it to me.
I open it to revile a beautiful key necklace. (Pic of the necklace.)

"Farkle... it.. it's beautiful." I was captured by its beauty, but I loved it even more since it came from Farkle.
"It has been passed down through my family for generations... My grandmother said to only give the necklace to the person that holds the key to your heart."
"Then why are you giving it to me?" I ask.
He gives me a sweet and loving smile. "Because Maya, you're the only one who can reach my heart. The only one who I will ever give the key too. I love you Maya, and this," he said taking out the necklace, he walked behind me and I moved my hair. He puts the necklace on me and walked in front of me again. He lifted the key that now hung around my neck. "This is the key to my heart. It's yours, now and forever." He said. A tear slipped from my eye and we kissed yet again.
"I love you Maya." He said.
"I love you too." I said.
We walked back in side and everyone looked at us. Some proud, some happy, some shocked, and some mixed. "What?" I ask.
"Ohhh, nothing, it's not like we were watching and eavesdropping." Riley said. Farkle and I laughed.
"So now you know." Farkle said. Everyone nodded. Farkel walked over to Shawn. "Sir, since you are Maya's soon-to-be step father, I would like to ask permission to date and maybe one day marry your daughter."
Shawn looked at him speechless, obviously not expecting it. Then he coughed, pushed out his chest, raised a hand and said, "I would be hounded to have you as my son-in-law, I give you permission."
Farkle came back to me and put his arm around my waist. I leaned into him and smiled, so this is how to be happy.
