(Y/n)'s POV

I sit down on the edge of a building with my legs dangling over to edge. I sigh deeply looking out across the city, the bright lights shinning and the noise of the traffic was the only thing I tried to concentrate on. But I couldn't. My thoughts kept going back to all those horrible moments with my uncle. I frown and look down feeling a few tears slip. I shouldn't have snapped at Mikey. He was only trying to help after all.

Suddenly I hear a loud thud behind me and I stand up quickly reaching for my tanto.

"Woah easy (y/n) it's just me" Donnie says holding his hands up in surrender.

I sigh and stop reaching for the blade. "What do you want Donnie?"

"For you to talk to me. You can trust me (Y/n). I can help you" he says calmly slowly and carefully walking towards me.

I shake my head. "How could you possibly help? you can't stop him from doing it, no one can" I sniff feeling more tears fall down my cheeks.

Donnie frowned and gently placed a hand on my shoulder. "Talking helps you know? I might not be able to stop him but I can prevent it."

I look up at him with a raised eyebrow. "How?" I ask curiously.

"You could move in with us, then you'll never have to see him again..what do you say?" he offers with a small yet warm smile.

I think for a moment then nod slightly. "Y-yeah, Id like that"

He grinned slightly and nodded. "Good, now let's go back to the lair. Mikey's probably worried sick"

I nod and follow him back to the lair. The second I walked in I was tackled into a hug by Mikey. "I'm sorry (Y/n)! I didn't mean to pressure you into anything, I know I'm a horrible and childish boyfriend"

My eyes widened and I frowned holding him tighter. "Mikey don't say that, you're not a horrible boyfriend. You only wanted to help me and I understand that. I'm sorry I snapped at you" I pull back slightly and place my hand on his cheek. "And hey, I love having a childish boyfriend, I wouldn't have you any other way"

Mikey smiled and leaned in capturing my lips in a passionate and loving kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him.

I smile into the kiss and moan slightly getting lost in it. After a few minutes we pull back for air and I grin leaning my forehead against his. "I love you"

Mikey giggled and grinned kissing the tip of my nose. "I love you too cupcake"
