Colby and I are on our way back to his.
We've been together 3 years, so just like any ordinary couple walking down the street. But are we?
We walk up his drive, he opens his front door and we walk into his mansion. We pass Aaron as we enter.
"Colby...*****.... what's going on?" Said Aaron.
"Nothing much just got back from an explore."
Replied Colby.
"Oh right cool" says Aaron as he heads into the kitchen.
Me and Colby head upstairs to his room, I sit on his bed and he sits on his desk chair, opens his laptop and begins to continue editing a video.
I'm browsing my phone, answering notifications and watching videos on YouTube.
45 mins later Colby turns to me and says "I'm bored are you bored?"
"Yeah a bit" I answered.
"Fancy a swim?" Asked Colby.
"Yeah sound fun" I replied.
We both stand up and begin to get changed into swim gear. Colby in his usual grey with coloured striped shorts and myself also in swim shorts but plain grey and a sports style type bikini top.
We walk out Colbys bedroom, grab two towels from the bathroom and head downstairs, out of the back door towards the pool.
Colby runs and turns on the now working hot tub, yay.
Colby and I give each other a look then look over to the shark jumping board. We both run and climb up the ladder. We stand over the edge looking down at the water.
We hold hands and jump in together.
Still holding hands, we sink to the bottom then rise out with a breath. We begin playing in the water, splashing and continuing to jump from the shark jumping board.
After about an hour of playing, we both go sit in the hot tub and relax.
"Colby I love you" I said.
"God I love you too" Colby said as he leans over and kisses me.
I look down at the water, Colby looks concerned. "There's something wrong I can tell" said Colby.
I look up at him. "You love me right?" I said.
"Always." Replies Colby.
I really need to....tell you.... something....but I don't know......how..." I said while stuttering my words.
Colby moves my hair out of my face and says "you can tell me anything you know that."
I take a deep breath and begin to speak "um well you know how our love is so deep like an addiction?"
"Isn't that love anyway?" Said colby.
"Not our kind..." I replied.
"I don't understand" said colby.
"There's a reason for it.." I said quietly.
Colby stares at me blankly.
"You're destined to be like me... it's your destiny that's why we feel this force and pull between us." I quivered.
"Be... like you? What are you talking about?" Colby asked me confused.
