Author's POV

Although Mark and Jackson were turning into aquaintances, the ending of their rivalry was not yet known to their friends. So they decided together that it wasn't exactly a huge deal. So why waste everyone's time explaining things when it didn't really matter, right? It was just that one of SHS's biggest rivalries was coming to an end just because the people involved felt it was becoming "boring" and "too much of a hassle"-- so why even bother at this point?

When the others found out, they were confused and in disbelief at first but eventually believed them. I mean, who would believe them? It felt more likely for Mark and Jackson to be working together to pull a prank rather than them getting over themselves and becoming frien-- aquantainces with each other. But once the others finally realized it wasn't a joke, they felt more glad than anything. Glad, well, because now they could actually start hanging out together more often and no one would mind each other's company at this point. Their producer, JYP, told them that they should hang out more often and get to know each other better since once they debuted, this was practically going to be their lives, performing and living with each other. And if they couldn't deal woth eachother, they "would be in deep shit and need to deal with it because if you can't, it's going to suck to be you."

_______

Mark POV

The others and I decided that we were be going to the movies later since school ends early today and the teachers decided to not assign a lot of homework. So we planned on meeting up at 5:30 even though the movie starts at 6:00. As I was getting ready, I decided to put on a gray hoodie with an open red plaid longsleeve over it with blue jeans, with tears in the knees. Then, I proceeded to walk out of my house, remembering to lock the front door because my parents were on a business trip for the next week and no one would be at home.

As I was walking down the street, I noticed someone. A certain someone. And that certain someone... was none other than...

Jackson Wang.

Just how cliché is your lame author? Anyways, yes, I saw Jackson walking to the meet up spot same as me. And something weird happened. I started walking towards him. And then I started waving to him and calling to him. It's nothing. We started over. It's okay if we hang out. It's okay. It's okay. Why am I acting like this?

But what surprised me more than myself, was him. Jackson saw me too. And then... we started walking towards eachother.

"Hey Jackson" I started.
"Oh-- uh, hi" he replied.
"Soooooooo....." I trailed off not wanting an awkward silence to form.
"Yeah?" He asked, confused. Well isn't this a real lively conversation, if you know what I mean. We continued on our way to the movie theater.

"When do you think we'll meet the last member?" Yes. I finally thought of a topic.
"Hmm... PD-nim said that he would be transferring to our school soon enough so I'm estimating probably about a couple of weeks, maybe?" He thought.
"Maybe... but what if we end up meeting him earlier out of school? That would be interesting." Jackson just nodded in return. Before we knew it, we had made it to the theaters' entrance. And the other members texted saying that they were already inside waiting for us. Couldn't they have told us that before? Well, we weren't late so I decided to buy some popcorn and soda with Jackson before going in.

//during the movie

I didn't know but Jackson turned out to be really scared while we were watching the movie. Well, he did vote against horror. It was funny watching him scream and jump in his seat (although I have to admit I had jolted a little bit myself).

During the intermission, I decided to excuse myself to get more popcorn and drinks for us and Jackson decided to tag along and help me carry the stuff. While I was refilling the drinks I noticed Jackson wasn't paying attention and staring off into space instead of getting more popcorn. -_- But before I could snap him out of his daze, I followed his gaze to what he was looking at: another guy. He was ordering some snacks for himself and looked to be around our age and was pretty handsome too. His hair was black and fairly neat and he was wearing a plain light blue t-shirt paired with black jeans. Then, all of a sudden, he looked up from his phone and caught Jackson staring at him. He casually smiled and brought his attention back to the counter in front of him. Jackson turned back to me after watching the guy leave with his food. I gave Jackson a questioning look and before he could answer me I asked him. "Who were you staring at?" From what it looked like, Jackson lightly blushed in return and quickly replied, "I don't know, no one probably." He couldn't have been blushing. Did he like the guy? For some reason, I felt some sort of feeling  I never thought I'd experience but I couldn't really define it. I brushed it off so it wouldn't bother me but the feeling still somewhat lingered.

While the rest of us were watching, I noticed Jackson kept looking around the theater for something. I asked him what he was looking for but he stopped me from speaking any further and just whisper-yelled a "nothing."

//after the movie

When the film ended, I noticed I couldn't find Jackson and told the other members. They said it was fine and be usually left quickly because of his curfew. Hmmm... alright then. So I continued on.

//time skip because of my moody ass

For the next couple of weeks, Jackson and Mark seeing each other and hanging out became more consistent. The bubble teas, movies, walks and snacks at either of their houses became frequent. Before Mark knew it, maybe he was even enjoying his time with Jackson. And this might've not been an exaggeration as well. Because little did Mark know, Jackson was also becoming fond of the time they used to hang out woth each other. But there was one other person who could in fact stop this bond growing between the two. And this person wasn't doing it intentionally. He hadn't known anything about Mark or Jackson's friendship. So how could you blame him?

Then they eventually had to meet him at some point in time. And that "some point" happened to be about 2 months after Jackson had first noticed him at the movies. His name was Park Jinyoung. The last part of their group. Great. Absolutely wonderful. As soon as the members got to know him, they liked him, including Mark. But their leader JB also had a soft spot for their newbie. Some might say that Jinyoung and Jackson were starting to get closer as the days went by, but they surprisingly still weren't as good friends as Mark and Jackson now. Yes, friends. But the only problem was, was that something Mark would've never imagined was starting to come together, like a puzzle, one piece at a time, a giant mess that only gets to the big picture when you finish. But in this case, instead of any picture, was a feeling. This puzzle was Mark developing feelings. Feelings for Jackson. But how could you ever confront someone like that? You cherished your friendship, of course. But do you have the need to confess. The confession that could have the power to destroy a friendship that took months mending and repairing?Could he even admit it to himself? Would Mark really even be able to see the big picture in time?

(A/N: In case you didn't realize, I suck at updating and I sort of was struggling making this chapter because I've been busy recently. Thank you for understanding [if u do] and don't forget to comment what you thought and vote!!❤❤)
