Sorry for taking such a long time T3T It's because of my laziness agh

But.. I'M BACK HAHA

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"How long are you going to stay here?" My mom asked Alexis while we were eating breakfast.

"Oh, umm.. A couple of days, I guess?" She smiled at my mother who ended up smiling back.

"I hope you feel comfortable in our house." I said.

"Ah yes, I feel comfortable here than my own house." Her sweet smile turned into a frown all of a sudden.

"Everything's going to be fine." I patted her shoulder.

"What are you going to do today?" My mom questioned.

"Today, I want to have fun." Alexis was still frowning.

"Do you want to go to a mall or something?" I tilted my head. "Isn't that risky? Your father might have ordered to look for you. His staff may be around somewhere."

"I don't go to malls that often so even if my dad ordered them to find me, a mall isn't really the place he would prioritize." She answered. "And I changed my look, most of the staff won't recognize me."

"I'll call Alice to join us, if it's okay." I said as I stood up.

"The more the merrier, right?" She finally smiled.

And so, we went to the mall right after we finished eating. When we arrived, Alice was already there. She looked surprise when she saw Alexis.

"Wait, Alexis??" Alice widened her eyes.

"Surprise!" Alexis giggled.

"What happened to your beautiful blonde hair?" Alice touched her fringe.

"She didn't want to be recognized, that's all." I was the one who answered.

"Oh I see." She nodded slowly. "Shall we get going?"

"Right, let's go." Alexis clung to my arm. "Thank you for letting me borrow this dress, it's so cute." She whispered to me.

"I don't use it anymore since I'm more on the boyish style. If you want, you can have it." I grinned.

"What are you guys whispering about?" Alice turned to us.

"Oh nothing important." Alexis stuck her tongue out and giggled.

We all went to play in the arcade. I could clearly see that Alexis was having fun the whole time. We laughed as we played.

"What game should we do next?" Alice jumped in excitement.

I looked around the place and saw the crane games on the side.

"How about crane games?" I pointed at them. The two of them just nodded and ran.

"Darn, I'm bad at these." Alice pouted.

"Me too. I always fail at these." Alexis smiled sweetly. "The last time I played crane games, I cried so hard like a kid because there was a stuffed bunny that I couldn't get. Then all of a sudden, there was this guy who offered to help me get I want." Her cheeks turned red.

"Who was that guy who helped you?" Alice asked.

Alexis bowed her head. "Someone I like up until now."

"Reagan?" I teased her. So cute, even her ears are red.

"Wait.. You like Reagan?" Alice's voice was quite loud.

"Lower down your voice!" Alexis pouted.

"You like him? It must be really hard for you to be engaged with his older brother."

I gave Alice a nudge and glared at her. Alexis fell silent all of a sudden and started to cry.

"Oh my gosh, I didn't mean to." Alice panicked. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry."

"No, it's okay." Alexis wiped her tears. "I'm just over reacted, I shouldn't cry like this."

"Alexis, can I hug you?" I felt so sad deep inside.

She looked at me with watery eyes and hugged me.

"I'll give you two a hug." Alice wrapped her arms around us. "To my friends who are currently having a hard time with their lives.

We all laughed at what she said.

"I'm hungry." Alexis said shyly.

"Let's go have lunch." I turned and began to walk.

Alice kept on telling us jokes as we were looking for a place to eat. On the other hand, Alexis and I did nothing but laugh at her. When we finally found a place, we immediately sat down and decided what to buy. Alice was the one who went and ordered.

"So, what do you like about him?" I happily asked.

"H-him?!" Alexis blushed.

"You know, Reaaaagan."

Alexis blushed even more. She really likes Reagan, so cute.

"Reagan is kind-hearted. He's smart but kind of lazy. He may be childish but it's only natural since he's still young. I like him as he is, I like who he is, I like the way he is." She suddenly blurted out.

I wasn't able to react. I just stared at her as tears slowly flowed down her cheeks.

"Hey hey, why are you crying again??" It was Alice.

"Ah! These tears...these are tears of happiness." Alexis looked up to Alice who was standing and arranging our food.

"Let's eat!" I came back to my senses and grinned.
