"What are we going to do next?" Alice rubbed her tummy as she asks the question.
"I want to buy some clothes." Alexis replied.
"Do you have money?" Both me and Alice were surprised.
"I do have some in my wallet." She showed us her beige wallet which was quite thick.
As expected from a girl born from a rich family. (^_^)'
With that, we went to alot of shops and she bought a handful of clothes. She even bought some for me and Alice.
"What do you think of this one Jaydee?" Alexis showed me a purple dress with a few but intricate designs.
"It looks simple but it's cute."
"I see. Do you like it?" She asked again.
"I like it, how about you?"
"Well, then. You should wear this one when you go on a date with Raiven." She smiled.
"Okay....wait, WHAT?!" Oh my gawd WHAT O//////O A DATE?
"Teehee." Alexis giggled. "I'll buy this for you." She went straight to the counter.
"Wait Alexis, I---"
"I still think my dad would reconsider my feelings so there's still hope you two would end up together."
"Alexis.." I can't help but smile at her.
"Are you two done?" A wild Alice appeared.
"We're done, let's go." Alexis took the clothes she bought and pulled me by the hand.
We went out of the shop altogether with wide smiles on our faces. We were about to enter another one when Alexis stopped and went behind me and Alice.
"What's wrong?" Alice steadily gazed at her.
"Mr. Andrews is there." She bowed her head.
"Who?" I raised my left eyebrow and turned to see who she was talking about. I saw a man wearing a formal suit. He seemed to be trying to find someone in the crowd.
"Don't look at him. He notices everything." Alexis whispered.
"Oh. Who is he?" I took my eyes from him.
"He's the head butler in our house."
"Head butler? What's he doing in a mall?" Alice squeezed in. "Oh wait.. Crap." Her eyes widened.
We looked at each other and began to walk briskly.
"Um, excuse me?" We heard a man's voice behind us.
"Holy cow." Alice said in a soft voice.
We all turned around and saw Mr. Andrews. He might be able to distinguish Alexis, oh turtles.
"Yes?" Despite being nervous, I answered.
He ignored me and instead, focused on Alexis.
*GULP*
"Jaydee!" Someone called me.
"Allen??" I saw him walking towards us. He was with Jerome.
"Why are girls so slow?" He scratched his head. What is he talking about?? "Sorry mister but do you have a business with my friends?" Allen spoke to Mr. Andrews.
"Not really, I was just--"
"We have a movie to catch so please excuse us." Jerome politely added.
"Ah. I apologize, I made a mistake." Mr. Andrews bowed and went ahead.
We stared at him while he was walking away.
"That was close!" Alice let out a deep breath. "You two saved our asses back there, holy potatoes."
"Who was he? That man just now." Jerome asked.
"He's the head butler in the Campbell household." I answered.
"Campbell?" Allen looked at Alexis from head to toe.
"This is Alexis Campbell, Raiven's wife-to-be." I confidently smiled.
"Wife-to-be... And you're hanging out with her? You're amazing Jaydee. Or maybe you're planning to kill her afterwards?" Allen stared at me with a poker face.
"What? No, of course not." I punched his arm. "Anyway, thank you for saving us."
"Wait, I'm confused. What do you mean by saving you? Was he trying to molest you or something?" Molest? Seriously Allen? -_-
"No.. You see, Alexis ran awa--- I mean is trying to hide from her father because he was, let's say, forcing her into things she doesn't like. Her cruel dad doesn't know where she's staying so he probably ordered his servants to look for his precious daughter. But since Alexis changed her appearance, we thought it would be hard to distinguish her but the head butler tried to examine her so we were nervous as hell." Alice narrowed her eyes.
"Forcing her into things she doesn't like.. That didn't sound right." Allen laughed out loud. Jerome hit him on his back.
"This guy pisses me off. Can I kill him?" Alice nudged me.
"Feel free to do it." I whispered.
"Is there really a movie we need to catch?" Alexis spoke after being silent for a while.
"Ah no, there isn't to be honest." Jerome frantically laughed. "We made up a lie because we thought you three were really being molested."
"I see." Alexis giggled. "You two were a big help."
"I'm really surprised that you and Jaydee are hanging out." Allen said.
"What do you mean?" Alexis tilted her head.
"Jaydee is in love with Raiven but Raiven is your fiance. Normally, you would argue with each other or something."
"I don't love Raiven so why argue?" She clung to my arm and pulled me closer to her."
"She's even staying at Jaydee's house." Alice added.
"Wait wait, let me pull all the thoughts together. My mind is just too slow to process everything." Allen turned around and started to mumble words to himself.
"You're so stupid Allen, I hate you." Alice placed her arms across her chess.
"Thank you for reminding me that I'm stupid." Allen glared at her.
"Calm down you two." Jerome patted their shoulders.
"Aw so cute. They're like a couple. Do you like each other by any chance?" Alexis happily asked.
"Like hell I would like an idiot such as that!" Alice angrily pointed at Allen.
"THAT? Are you calling me THAT? Excuse me but I'm one of the most good looking guys in our school." Allen moved his face towards Alice.
"Yuck." Alice had a disgusted look on her face.
Jerome, Alexis and I just laughed while they continue arguing with each other. I think they would really make a good couple. Maybe it's time for me to tease Alice. Let's make a change for a bit. *evil laugh*
