(Y/N) P.O.V:
I turned up the volume on the old staticky radio as Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do' played. The sun shines brightly through the windows reflecting a shiny yellow glare. Almost swaying along with the music, the dream-catcher followed along as Taylor sang. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and I enjoyed every minute. As I turned down the road, making my way onto the highway, the trees passed by giving out beautiful rays of color; orange, red, and yellow. Everything passed with a sense of happiness. It seemed Mother Nature itself was happy for me for getting accepted into Blackwell. 10 minutes passed as I branched off the highway and drove onto the road which leads to Blackwell. The truck puttered along as it approached closer.

Pulling into an empty parking spot, I watched as everyone outside seemed to be at peace doing their daily outside activities. A group of students sitting at the picnic table were playing some type of board-game, two boys were throwing around a football, and a girl was sitting quietly underneath a tree reading. She seems like a good person to make friends with. I grab my bag from the backseat and made my way over to the young woman. As I approached, she looked up from her book. Her golden brown eyes looked up at me with love and welcome.

"Hi there". The strawberry-blonde haired girl smiled as I sat down next to her. "Hi." I reply as she closes her book and puts it on top of her bag. "I'm Rachel, what's your name?" Rachel's smile lighted up my heart like a warm fire. "My names (Y/N). It's nice to meet you." She giggles and brought up this upcoming school year. "So are you new here (Y/N)? You don't look familiar". I nodded and told her all about how my last school didn't provide enough for me, but Blackwell was the perfect scholarship school.

An hour passed as Rachel and I continued to talk about life and various sub-topics. The large bell above the school rang with a repetitive sound. "Time for first period. Cmon I'll show you around." She grabbed my hand after picking up her bag, as I picked up mine, and lead me to the school for my grand tour.
