Chapter 2

Rachel's P.O.V:
Wow, today couldn't have been anymore perfect. I found a good book to read in my spare time, theater is starting up soon, and just my luck a pretty girl came to my side on the first day of school. Her name's (Y/N) and she's new here, but besides that she's totally cool and sweet. I talked to her about the upcoming school year, her favorite things. It really was nice to enjoy quality time with someone other than the theater and photography students. I offered a tour of the school for her since she'd have no idea where she was going. I grabbed her hand after we picked up our bags.

Leading her through the school, I knew I had to get to know this girl better. I looked back at her a few times as I guided her to first period and pointed out bathrooms. She smiled the most genuine smile. I hope she'd want to get to know me better as well. Approaching her first period which was Drawing and Painting, I let go of her hand to say goodbye. "Well I'll come get you after first period is over. I hope you enjoy your first class." I waved goodbye and went to go to my first period when she stopped me. (Y/N) grabbed my hand and brought me into an embrace. "Thanks for the help." She said in my ear and walked into her classroom. It's official, my heart is completely melted.

First period was a rough one for me. I had Trigonometry this period and I was not awake enough for this. All I could think about was her. I got yelled at a few times to pay attention but I just couldn't. She was the only thing on my mind.
