Forest

Grey was eating rabbit meat he had pulled from his inventory hey, when he finally reached the forest.

The forest reminded Grey of the jungles back on his planet. The trees were several stories tall, and everything in eyesight was a lush green.

After a few minutes of walking in the forest Grey ears perked up. He heard a howl coming from up ahead. Grey crouched low and cautiously continued walking. After a while saw a clear up ahead, and standing in the clearing were 3 black wolves surround a white lump.

Grey decided he wouldn't rush in without a plan, so he climbed up a tree and waited. The white lump turned out to be a rabbit. This rabbit was two feet tall, but compared to the 4 foot wolves it looked small. However, some surprising happen the rabbit jump in the air then, axle kicked one of the wolves. That wolf fell to the ground, the wolves tried to bite the rabbit after it landed but it dashed away.

Feeling this was the best time to strike, Grey jumped from his tree into the clearing. The sound of him landing brought the attention of the wolves onto him. The two standing wolves charged him. Grey calming took the dagger from his inventory and throw it into the head of the wolf on the right. The wolf died the instant the dagger slid into it's head, but it's momentum from running caused the body to tumble into the other wolf.

Grey taking advantage of his luck, when the wolf on the left was tripped, ran up to the wolf activated Lightning Strike and kicked the wolf on the head. The wolf's head instantly caved in due to the immense power.

"You gained 600 experience" The system informed him.

Grey pulled out his dagger from the other wolf's head, and made his way to the wolf that was attacked due the rabbit. When Grey got there he was surprised to see the head of the wolf demolished from the impact of the axle kick.

'Wow, I'm happy I didn't give the rabbits I killed a chance to due that' Grey thought to him self. Grey recalling the many times he went hunting from his father, immediately started to skin the wolves and cut the edible meat. After filling his inventory with three wolf pelts and some meat, Grey continued his journeythrough the forest.

An hour or two later Grey stumbled upon a group of goblins. They were behind trees waiting to ambush an unsuspecting traveller. Grey silently circled around them, and dispatched one goblin at a one. However when Grey got to what he assumed was the leader, because he was slightly larger than the goblins. The goblin leader jumped out away from the tree before Grey could get close enough to strike.

The goblin leader held a slightly damaged short swords, unlike the rusted daggers the other goblins had. The goblin leader drew his sword as he turned to face Grey. Grey ran towards the goblin staying low to reduce the areas he could get hit. The goblin had an overhead chop towards Grey when he got close enough. Grey sidestepped the chop, and counter attacked with a quick stab to the goblin's side. Grey then slipped behind the briefly stunned goblin, and activated Lighting Strike and round house licked the goblin in the head. This had the same effect on the goblin's head as it did to the wolf's head.

As Grey wad pausing to admire his work of dismantling the goblins, his eye picked up a tinkle of reflected light. He slowly made his made toward the tree he saw the tinkle behind. Behind the tree Grey saw a pile of equipment from what he assumed were unlucky people the goblins ambushed. In the pile something caught Grey's eye. A dirty pair of gauntlets. Grey not knowing these caught his attention, decide to wear them.

Grey carefully inspected the gauntlets and a system prompt came up.

Dirty Gauntlets: A pair of dirty gauntlets found after killing an entire squad of goblins. The previous owner was probably slaughtered by the squad of goblins, and had the guantlets stole before he died.

Grey then inspected all the weapons in the pile.

'You have levelled a new skill to level 1, Identify.’

'Great a new skill' Grey thought. Grey then continued his journey through the forest. It was getting dark by the time Grey decided it set up camp for the night. As Grey was laying under the stars, he noticed something in the sky.
'Its smoke' Grey thought. He gathered his stuff into his Inventory and made his way to the smoke.

Grey peered around a tree and saw the source of the smoke. A campfire surrounded by several men in black. Grey climbed into the tree was finding behind. Grey started making a plan.

Grey swiftly and stealthily went to the other side of the fire. Halfway to his objective his got a prompt.

'You have levelled a new skill to level one, Sneak.'

Grey, wandering got sneak did, opened his status and inspected the new skill ,and a description popped up.

  Sneak: Lowers the chance of being noticed, seen, or heard by entities the user classifies as enemies.

'Great that's so useful for my situation' Grey thought of all the times he could have used this.

Grey refocused on his plan ,and made it to the other side of campfire, behind one of the tents. Grey waited for the bandits to go to bed. After an hour the bandits went to bed. One by one Grey snuck into their tents and killed them all.

'Congratulations, You have completed the Quest 'Kill the Black Forest  Bandits' Plus 20 renown and Leather Armour'

Grey quickly put on his leather ,and climbed into a tree to sleep like he did so many times on hunting trips with his father. Grey feel asleep to the eerie silence of the forest.
