August's pov
Did he just ask me out?!
"Sure, when is a good time for you?" I ask.
"Is tonight okay?" He asks.
"Tonight sounds good." I say.
"Okay, I'll pick you up." He says.
"I can meet you here if that's okay." I say.
"Sure. I'll see you then." He says.
We exchanged numbers then went our separate ways.
What am I gonna wear?
I get home, take a shower.
I started looking through my closet and found a nice pair of jeans, a white thank top, and a red flannel. I then put on some foundation, mascara, and red lipstick. I then grab my phone, wallet, and keys and go back to Midwest. Right when I got there Monkey was behind me. I smile, park my truck, kill it, get out, and locked it.
He was dressed nice.
"You look nice." He says.
"You do too." I say.
He opened the passenger door and helped me in. Then he got on his side and we had gone to a Mexican restaurant. We ate then went back to Midwest. He kissed my cheek, I thanked him, and then we went our separate ways.
I got home, and when I shut the door I slid down it. I have never had a guy be that nice to me ever. In my past relationships I've been beaten.
It has now been a month that I've been here. I was working on our car when I see a familiar car pull up. Oh shit my ex.
I wipe my hands off and walk out to him.
"What the hell do you want Josh?" I ask.
"I've been trying to find you." He says.
"Maybe I don't wanna be found. There's a reason why I left." I say.
"And what was that?" He says.
"Well for one you." I say.
"Little bit." Chief says.
The guys call me little bit.
I turn around.
"Yes sir?" I say.
"Who is this?" He asks.
"My ex. I'm tryin to get him to leave." I say.
"Not a chance." Josh says.
"Look if she wants you to leave then do it." Chief says.
"Not without her." He says.
Then Monkey came out.
"You best leave." He says.
Now all of us are outside.
Josh then stepped close to me and Chief put me behind him.
"You get out of here right now." Shawn says.
He then stepped away. Then Chief moved a little and next thing I knew I felt a sting on my face and I was on the ground and Monkey tackled Josh.
*I have no idea what happened or why this unpublished my WiFi was acting up*
