Harvey Cantwell....

Shit....

Staring up at the blonde boy, I mumbled "I'm so sorry Harvey...", looking back down at my Adidas Superstars on my feet, I realised that Harvey's sparkling white Air Max were no longer white.... In fact, they were stained brown with the spilled coffee.

"Look, don't worry about it," Harvey told me, seeing worry flush through my face.

"No, I'll give you some money to buy new ones," I insisted, but he was having none of it and walked over to Rye and Andy.

Sighing, I hurried back over to Brooklyn and sunk into my chair - trying to hide from the boys.

Picking up my phone, to look through Instagram, Brook started talking, "you do realise that Air Max are like sixty quid," he began.

"Yeah, so?" I answered, not looking up from my phone.

"Harvey just let you off the hook. If you were anyone else, he'd make them pay double the price," Brook sighed, putting his black and white Nike jacket on, which happened to match his black and white Air Max.

"He just wants to get in my pants," I told him, pulling my adidas jacket over my shoulders and grabbing my bag.

Walking out of the cafe, Brook and I made our way to the bus station in the huge shopping centre.

Luckily, after a not so quick bus journey - the traffic was horrendous today - the number 25 bus took us straight to the bus stop outside of the apartment building Brooklyn and I both live in.

Walking up the stairs to the third floor, the pair of us kicked off our shoes as we entered my apartment - collapsing on the grey 'L' shaped sofa in my sitting room.

After a while of silence between the two of us, as we watched 'Riverdale' on Netflix, Brook began "Why do you like Harvey so much?"

Signing, I paused the Netflix show and answered his question, "Truthfully? I have no idea," causing by best friend to roll his eyes. "Look, I thought he was a decent person when I first met him. He had a great personality, he was the best looking boy in our school and I fell for him instantly. But now... after what he's turned into... the feelings just won't leave," I sighed, picking up my phone.

"Look, I'm sure he feels the same way," Brooklyn told me.

"No, I've already told you, he won't," rolling my eyes at his question, I pressed play on the TV remote - the two of us continuing to find out what 'Archie Andrews' would get up to next.

Hours must've gone by, by the time Brooklyn left, we'd watched almost a full season of 'Riverdale'. Deciding to have a shower, I made my way up the corridor and into my bedroom to get some pyjamas. Picking up a pair of black leggings, a grey jumper that Brooklyn left one time when he stayed over - it has 'Brooklyn' written on the front and back in red writing - and a pair of white fluffy slipper socks.

After my shower, I decided it would be a good idea to go to bed, since it's a school night and it's already 10:30pm. Plugging in my phone to the phone charger, I quickly sent my dad a 'goodnight' text message before getting comfy in bed.

Usually, I don't see my dad that much, since he's always working. He does late shifts at work because they pay the best wages so he's always asleep when I wake up in the morning for school, and he's always at work when I come home.

It's only me and my dad in our house, he tries his best to make me happy and that's all I could ever ask for. My mum left us when I was only ten but my dad got custody of me, I used to see her every weekend but I don't know if it was me who grew out of going to see her, or if she just didn't want to see me anymore. Never the less, I haven't seen her for years now.

My mum remarried and now her new husband and herself live happily together, with my brother Zack. When my parents got divorced, Zack decided to take my mums side of the argument - so he lives with her. However, my dad fought to have custody of me - as he didn't want to loose another child. Zack and I still keep in touch sometimes, even though I don't see him that often anymore, he goes to my school... and he's one of Harvey's best friends....

Thursday 16th November

"So you're telling me, that Harvey Cantwell was totally cool with you spilling coffee on his sixty quid Air Max?" Emily asked, as the pair of us walked to Maths - the third lesson of the day. Luckily it's lunch time next, then we only have two lessons left of the day.

Emily and I have been best friends since we first started high school, she's in my form class, along with Brooklyn. We have a lot of classes together, including maths... One of the lessons we both hate the most.

"Hurry up and sit down," our maths teacher told the two of us, rolling his eyes at us, as we walked into the classroom.... late as usual... "I have a class to teach,"

Making my way to my assigned seat, I placed my bag under the table and my jacket in the back of my chair. Unfortunately, I sit next to Harvey. Meaning, I have to relive last night over and over again until the lesson is finished.

Opening my red maths book, I copied down the date, title and the work written on the board with my blue biro pen. "Do you have a pen I can borrow," a voice asked me. Seeing as there's only on other person sitting on the table with me, I already knew who it was.

Reaching for my bag, I pulled out a pen and handed it to the blonde boy sat next to me, "thank you, I'll give it back to you at the end of the lesson," he whispered, since we were sat at the front of the classroom - right next to the teachers desk.

"It's fine, Harvey," I said to him, trying to work out the equation on the small worksheet the teacher had handed out, "just keep it."

"Summer, Harvey, would you like to enlighten the class about what is so much more interesting than my lesson?" Mr Andrews sighed, stopping the lesson to draw attention to us - all eyes in the room staring at us.

"I could think of a lot of things," I answered, raising my eye brows at the grey haired man stood in front of me, causing the whole class to erupt with laughter and an eye roll from the teacher.

"She has a point," Harvey laughed, agreeing with me.

"Detention. Both of you." He yelled, causing the whole room to fall into silence, apart from Harvey and I who were sat laughing quietly. "I mean it. Dreelan. Cantwell. Lunch detention after this lesson."

Great. Now I have the whole of lunch with Harvey.
