1 YEAR LATER
Its a year later, and life is amazing. We are all still happily together, Lori moved in so i now see my best friend everyday. The boys are spiking as influencers and artists, and we couldn't be more proud if them. Our weekly movie nights, still live on. We have added “date night” to which is every Friday. Life couldn't get any better.
Ethan and Grayson came up to Tif and I this morning, looking overly excited. “Whats up with you two goofs?” we laughed as we ate our breakfast. “Um, were going in tour!!” they screeched as they hugged us tightly, making us the only ones awake no longer. “Thats amazing!! When? Where to? for how long?” I said trying to get all the details. “Its short notice, but two weeks, its just a US tour, and for about almost 2 months,” When Grayson said how long theyd be gone...he sounded pretty upset...and soon Ethan's face went into a frown. We cheered them up by telling them itd all be okay, and well do something fun everyday until they leave. Soon Aaron walked down the stairs, “ You excited for tour bro?” Ethan asked, “ Yeah..but don't bring it up yet..i have something planned for Kait…” He said smugly. Ethan put his hands up and laughed, as did the rest of us.
For the first week, we rented a hotel at the nearest beach, and spent Monday-Thursday...and Left friday night after dinner. The second week, we just did small things like shopping, mini golf, go karting, swimming and on that Friday night Date...was when everything went unexpectedly wrong.
We all ordered our food and Grayson nudged Aaron to tell Kait about Tour...because he wasn't prepared until now. After the waitress left to start our orders, and Aaron stood up from the table and cleared his throat of nervousness, “Kait, i know this is late notice, but don't leave until i'm done...please.” he said looking like he was about to cry. “Uhm, okay...whats going on?” I thought Kait was going to burst into tears at any moment...she looked so scared. “ Tomorrow, Us 4 guys are leaving for tour and-” Kait cut him off.
“What?! Why are you just telling me now?” she was about to walk out of the restaurant in tears until Aaron grabbed her arm, “ What are you doing, let me go.” She was crying the hardest I had ever seen. Aaron wiped her tears, “No, hear me out. The reason i waited to tell you was bc my gift was put on hold. But i hate the fact i will have to go so long without seeing you...and giving you hugs every morning...and I know the other guys are the same with their girls. But i just want to promise you something. I promise that no matter what, I'll never leave you...ill always be there for you..ill facetime you everyday. I promise that you are forever my world and i can't leave my world behind me just because of tour, so that's why i got you this.” he pulled a grey box out of his suit pocket...it was a promise ring. Kait began to cry as she hugged Aaron and apologized for how she reacted.
Once again he wiped her tears, “Don't be sorry, i should have told you sooner. I would react the same way, so lets finish our dinner, and we can all have a bonus movie night before we leave tomorrow, sound good to everyone?” he smiled brightly. We all shook our heads in agreeance. After we finish, paid and left, we got home and we all went upstairs and changed into pajamas. Once we all got down stairs, us girls, cuddled into our guys and fell asleep on them for the last time for the next two months. This is a feeling we are all going to miss about our boys.
