Unspoken Love

Movie Night

    The following Wednesday after Aaron admitted he had feelings for Kait, we had our movie night. To decide on a movie we all wrote what movie we wanted to watch on a piece of paper and stuck it in Grayson’s beanie to draw from. He stirred the papers and finally picked one after what seemed like forever. Gray read the paper out loud, “The Goonies….wow. It's not like we haven't watched this every other week. Can i pick another?” he chuckled, everyone agreed for him to pick another movie. Besides Aaron, “Oh come on guys!! IT'S A CLASSIC,” Kait playfully punched Aaron on his arm at his words and said “Aaron, I’ve only been here three weeks and We’ve watched this twice, in a row, i think you'll survive one week,” she laughed at her own words and Aaron agreed and laughed with her.

    Ethan walked in at the sight of Kait and Aaron laughing with each other he stopped dead in his tracks and yelled,”AWE COUPLE GOALS,” they both slowly stopped laughing and Aaron discretely yet violently shook his head for Ethan not to say that. Ethan gave him a wink and a thumbs up as if he understood, at that Gray picked another paper out of the hat, “TFIOS..I’ll allow it..TO THE LIVING ROOM!!”  We all grabbed our popcorn and candies and ran.

    We only had one couch, no other furniture, at times it sucked but it's nice for movie nights. On the couch Ethan sat on the left side, and then me,Tiff, and Gray at the right side. Then on the floor Aaron sat between Aaron and I then Kait and Cam at the end. Cam wasn't normally home, but he never missed a movie night. Once the movie started and I had shut the lights off Cam had reached behind Kait and poked Aaron to get his attention, once Aaron looked his way he winked, Everyone saw except for Kait. We all let out a small laugh as Aaron balled his fists and aggressively mouthed the word ‘stop’. Kait just joined with us even though she had no clue what was happening.

    It had come to the part where Augustus says he has cancer yet again, and Kait was out on Aaron's shoulder. Cam, Ethan And Grayson all questioned when he was going to admit his feelings. “Guys just shut up before she wakes up and hears yall, ya toolboxes jeez. Don't ruin this for me.” At the sound of his voice she had come out of her sleep, “Don't ruin what?” she asked her voice showing she was tired at the late hour. Cam winked at Aaron,Gray shook Tiff with excitement, Ethan looked at me with widened eyes, as I nudged Aaron with my foot to get him to Admit everything.

    Before Aaron had a chance to say anything, Ethan blurted ,”He doesn't want us to ruin his chance with you…”. Everything was silent, eventually I slapped Ethan’s arm, “Ow! Babe what was that for?!” I gave him a “you know why i hit you” look and he nodded his head in agreement. “A, Is that true?” Kait questioned. Aaron looked around not knowing what to do, “Uhmm, no. maybe. uhhhm….I'm gonna head to bed. Night guys.” Aaron darted up the stairs to his bedroom. Kait looked at me and Tiff, “I don't know what that was about, or what that's supposed to mean..But i'm tired so I’m going to hit the shower and head to bed, Goodnight yall!”

    Ethan, Gray,Cam,Tiff and I went to Aaron's room. “A, what are you thinking? Why didn't you confess right then and there?” Cam questioned. “Bro, I know but don't worry I got this.” he said confidently while writing in a notebook. “Okay well i guess we will go to bed if you got this, good luck bud, goodnight” Ethan said as he hugged me and walked to our bedroom. Soon Tiff and Gray went to bed also. Cam decided to stay and Help Aaron, mainly for moral support.

    Kait was still in the shower when Aaron took his note into her room and laid it on her pillow, his note read: Kait, what Ethan said was true, I didn't want to ruin my chances with you. I’ve had feelings for you since we were introduced to each other. I wasn't going to say anything or admit it at all because i love our relationship, and didn't want to ruin it just because i'm afraid you don't feel the same. You make me smile, laugh and really cheer me up. And I really do like you. Text me when you see this. I have a question to ask.

    Kait had gotten out of the shower and dressed, she went to lay down but stopped once she saw the note. She read it and was ecstatic. She texted him once she read it with happy tears in her eyes.She wasn't even able to put her phone down before Aaron came knocking on her door. She didn't say a word before Aaron asked, “Will you be my girlfriend?” There was a long silence as Kait thought about her decision.She started to cry happy tears, “Of course, I've been waiting for you to ask!” she nearly shouted. He quickly brought her into a tight hug, and went back downstairs and cuddled together under a blanket while they finished TFIOS. They were the happiest they had ever been. And so mich happens from this moment on.
