Percy
"Please," Luke begged, not even looking up to see that it was me. "Don't."
I stopped in my tracks, and dropped the cuffs I had in my hands. It was an interrogation room is what we turned it into. There was a small table. That's it. I'm required to cuff him to the table to ensure safety.
I crouched down and placed a hand on his shoulder, making him jump.
"I'm not going to hurt you, Luke," I promised the son of Hermes. "I do have to ask you a few questions, but I'm not here to hurt you. Are you okay with that?"
He nodded his head, not even recognizing me.
I helped him get over to the chair and cuffed his wrist to the table, taking out the recorder.
"Everything you say will be recorded," I informed him, starting the recorder. "For evidence and and documentation of what is happening now. We don't believe you to be in trouble, but due to the situation, we have to enforce that belief. Others are also being questioned, due to confidentiality reasons, I can't tell you who. You are to answer everything with the full truth and that only. Do you understand?"
"I do."
"Alright," I started off and pulled out my list of questions and grabbed my pen. "Please state your name, relation to gods, and camp rank."
"Luke Castellan, son of Hades, former leader of Camp Half-Blood."
"Alright," I said, just putting a check because I knew who he was. He told the truth. "Luke, are you aware that Kronos has escaped Tartarus and has gained an army's worth of Demigods and monsters?"
Kind of like me when I found out about this, he went pale. He went pale with fear and he looked like he was going to pass out between this and the pain.
"What?" Luke sounded devastated. "No... I... I wasn't until now."
"Do you know of anyone that's in contact with Kronos?"
"No."
"Okay, that's the end of those." I assured him. "You aren't in trouble, Luke. But may I ask who beat you?"
"The uh..." I wouldn't doubt that he was threatened to keep his mouth shut by whoever did it. "it was the Stoll brother's. Connor and Travis. They told me that I needed to learn a lesson about what I did, leaving camp, and they beat me up. I was too tired to fight back. They've done that every day for the past three days while I've been here."
Finishing writing that down, I thanked him for cooperating and turned off the recording, uncuffing him.
"Am I... Am I allowed to ask questions?" Luke asked me, and that's when I realized that he didn't recognize me.
"Of course."
"Chiron told me that someone on the High Commission would be sent here." The son of Hermes explained. "He wouldn't tell me how because he said that part hadn't been figured out yet, it was up to the Comission and all. I don't know who's on it anymore aside the Thalia and Grover, and you're not either of them. So can I uh... Can I ask who you are?"
Uncuffing him, I let Luke relax and he rubbed his wrist. The Stolls shattered him into pieces. They broke him.
"Luke," I didn't realize I had changed that much until he said that. "It's... Percy. Percy Jackson."
He went pale again. Because if I'm on the High Commission, knowing what I know, he could get in a shit ton of trouble. I could kill him if I wanted. Nobody would try me because he committed treason.
