Old Friends, New Mission

We close up on Nigel Uno (codename: Numbuh 1)

He's pacing around in a cage.

"Things are getting desperate, Nigel." he said to his self. "I could get killed for this. But I have no other choice. And I promised my friends..."

In the Sector V treehouse there are only 3 operatives left: Numbuh 2 (Hoagey Giligan), Numbuh 3 (Kuki Sanban) and Numbuh 4 (Wallabee "Wally" Beetles)

Ever since Numbuh 5 (Abigail "Abby" Lincoln) left for moonbase as Soopreme Leader, Numbuh 2 took charge - with the condition that he could still pilot his planes.

Numbuh 4 was in his room when Kuki walked in

"You're still reading those books?" she asked

"Yeah." Numbuh 4 shrugged "I mean, ever since Numbuh 5 left, we barely get assigned any missions. There ain't nothin to do anymore. Plus my parents would kill me if I flunk"

Just then, Numbuh 2 burst into the room

"Hey guys! I got a message from Numbuh 1!"

"Finally!" Wally cried

"What's it say, Numbuh 2?" Kuki asked

"Let's see." Hoagey replied, leading them to the briefing room

There, the projector turned on, and a hologram of Numbuh 1 started talking

"Attention, Sector V." he began "I am stuck in a cage on (static). I know I can count on my old team. I miss you guys. End transition."

"Well, what the crud are we waitin around for?" Numbuh 4 asked. "Let's go find him."

He ran out of the room but came back when he realized his friends didn't follow him

"What are you two waiting for?" he asked

"Well... don't you think we should tell Numbuh 5?" Numbuh 2 asked

"What for?" Numbuh 4 replied. "She's up on moonbase busy doing who knows what and we don't have time. She left us here just like Numbuh 1, except she had a real option."

"Numbuh 4, how could you say such a thing?" Numbuh 3 scolded. "Numbuh 5's our friend and she's Numbuh 1's friend, too."

"Yeah. And even if she won't come with is, it's better than going on an unauthorized rescue mission to an unknown planet." Numbuh 2 added

"Fine." Wally said "But I still don't like it."

The friends ran to the hangar
